Flags
For hundreds of years inverted national flags were commonly used as distress signals.[2] However, for some countries’ flags it is difficult (e.g., Spain, South Korea, the UK) or impossible (e.g., Japan and Denmark) to determine whether they are inverted. Other countries have flags that are inverses of each other; for example, the Polish flag is white on the top half and red on the bottom, while Indonesia's and Monaco's flags are the opposite—i.e., top half red, bottom half white. A ship flying no flags may also be understood to be in distress.[3]

Don't know about this, Hickson. Everything before ECU would only be some simulation based on values that were given then to all the currencies (not just Mark) in the basket during the 90ies. But of course we had all kinds of different actions of independent central banks, huge fluctuations between 1950-1990.
I'd say you can't derive anything from such a chart, maybe not even from charts of the first year after the euro was traded. Just my 2 cents.

Closed my last long for +15 and done for now, going to bed. Still planning to short 1590-1620, if we get there.

Looking at daily tf, euro is bound to bounce, RSI at 15 favours some relief aswell.

on 1HR tf, I will be looking to buy if close above 15845 to 1.1613
