Some asian fun, target was 382 fibo and the 117 BRN, it came down to 37 pips (my target was at 37.6) and I was too afraid it'd miss my TP and skyrocket back up, so I manually closed it for 34 or 35

Interesting gaps on jpy pairs that just occurred... 50-80 pips.

I think you are correct. I just emailed the same png to the FinFX broker. Checked Oanda charts and they are showing no gaps, just like your Pepperstone. Will see what kind of response FinFX comes back with. Kinda pisses me off when they do this.

Edit to add: just heard from FinFX..... So, they'll probably fix the charts to "erase" the gaps. Ahem. Doesn't help the traders who had their stops blown through by 50-80 pips. *shaking my head* Brokers...

Unfortunately we had two connection issues tonight and that’s why there is also gaps.
Charts will be fixed in near future.

That's serious. Many traders may have been hit SL. They can do anything with this kind of excuse. I have heard this happened in the past. Broker doing this kind of thing should be taken seriously.

It's a bunch of crap, isn't it. I've sent them numerous screenshots over the past two years where I showed them gaps in their data feed that were not due to a high volatility news release. They've apologized for it, but they've never refunded my losses when it's happened. I wasn't in any trades tonight but, I sent them the screenshot anyway, just to call them on it and tell them that my Oanda account didn't show the same gaps (hint, hint - get your stuff right or I'll leave for a different broker).

I saw gap on GJ pair a few times before specially on Monday my time. I m not sure if it was broker's or the market itself and as I did not normally leave any positions overnight so I did not contact the broker for that issue.

It's really not that dis-similar from a broker like Oanda who widens their spreads for no particular reason. Every broker has their games.
