As suspected DOW broke out late +170. I exit this 1.152 long now 1.1577. I also suspect then a gap up for this pair barring crazy news Sunday.

ironically, brokers who are suffering are the ones who hedged out (or passed on orders to the market). the leverage of the clients and the lack of bids in the market is what put the people's accounts into negative equity, meaning it is the clients who put them in a difficult situation.. had this been an opposite case and the market makers would be going out of business and clients left with no money.

Sorry the level was for the euro not UJ.

In any case weekly wrap up, very interesting close of the week before the potential EZ first full blown QE.

Commodities finding a micro relief bottom but they look set for at least one more push down before forming a decent bottom.

Gold testing key Resistance that its also major entry area for the next leg down.

Equities fly in the moon in steroids with astonishing good numbers from the US that keep coming and with offer of lots more "Free money" now from the EZ QE but technically and fundamentally (cause world problems) looks ready for a breather. Given EZ QE I am using DAX as reference for the upcoming weeks. Final target to 10300/400 looks within easy reach and enough for large profit taking until the mess is Europe is settle.

Currencies extreme moves and volatility this week. CHF complete collapse and it will take weeks to settle down. Mid term CHF looks unavoidable doom to test the bottom of the news spikes and below. Dollar set to a extended rally. Its rare to find such unidirectional bias in a currency (there is nothing -negative for months alreadyin the currency). While euro is so bearish that has probably outrun itself. Lots of passenger without a ticket and most of the QE move already digested and sitting in major Fundamental Support make me specially doubtful for next week. Yen set for a continuation rally, it has lots of empty space to next Resistances once last highs are taken across all pairs and crosses.

The next few days will set the tone across the board for the next few months or so until the next chapter: FED HIKES....

I don't pity those brokers who got bankrupted with the chf Tsunami. It is a payback to them in their own coin. They over the years are happy swindling retail traders like me. But, now they have seen how the bitter pill taste when it is not the other person swallowing it.

Nice wrap up man. Dax may be pretty good hint next week. Regarding that UJ. I have stated few times ECB doesnt necessarily have to deliver any form of QE, inflation pressures due to weak Euro and now SNB move are strong enough. If ECB wont deliver, or delivers betaversion, if you wanna buy some EUR, which currency is best to sell and everyone has plenty of it? Think if such case happens EJ could be quite good move. Sure it is a knifecatch and am better counting on USD holding its value after move so UJ think better investment. But anyway, for the case such thing happens, I wanna be few short Yen and there is no better place to load than in this abc now. As I ve said it is low leverage as am counting on exponential move up above 123,8. Dont need to load much . And if ECB delivers, my SL could get sliced through, apart it is yet again heavy boost for USD. So think UJ good move.

Mate while reading your posts am thinking I definitely need more screens .

So for any of my MB Trading brothers...
they seem to have came through this without much trouble.

i would be careful of predictions with the geopolitical stuff going on and crazy world leaders.. you could wind up in deep chit.

see what happened with the chf 1.20 peg. at 1.2 was the place the snb wanted to hold for a artificial parity or an equalization for lack of a better term. at 1.2 the swiss were able to compete verse other esb countries. imagine the euro is a the same type peg within ez.. each ecb member is tied to 1 to 1 parity or equalization. it works well as a group against outside members for the ecb. the problem is within the group (ecb individual countries) . when a country like Germany has the better paying wages, and expects those poorer counties (less wages) to buy its products.. it cant last forever.. all that has happened so for was, ecb tried this and failed. the poorer economies were not able to afford the circle of ecb life.. so this was subsidized by the richer ones, because the poor are unable to compete. no different then the e/chf peg being broke.
a tour guide in Greece will always be poor compared to a bmw factory worker. in the cycle this makes the factory worker poor unless he can export to other buyers. a high euro discourages this. it also discourages tourism for the tour guide.. because of this the ecb will always weigh against the south members. in turn trickle to north members... a high eu means death to ecb. it just takes time.

I only things I predict anymore are more BS and debt from the 'global elite' (regardless of whether they are neocons, lefties or some weirdos sitting on the fence) but thanks for your concern
