That 'greed' factor is always an issue, isn't it? Trying to look at what you made on something and drilling into your head that it doesn't matter what could have/would have/might have happened - it didn't so be happy - at least that's what I try to do.

Agree that it has been short for ages but I just didn't see that drop coming (like most) but the SNB must have been selling Euros quietly for ages to achieve that when everyone thought they were buying to support the CHF. Cunning bastards!

It is still too soon to trade it, but I really believe the EUR/USD is at, or near bottom. It may be the reason why the SNB ended the peg. Because they will not need it anymore.

Aparently Goldman thinks QE is going to be massive, due to todays SNB action. 1 tril overall? If thats true then looks like its still going to be worth placing short ahead of 22nd.

USDCAD worth a shot short side retraced all the way back to the break out level at 1.1930. I put sl at 1.1950.

So many people searches pistol right now

Now i can imagine these who was trading W/O STOP LOSS ... now they are just shaking .. tommorow they are gonna kill themselfs

thats why i will never trust some bank to protect some currency ... especialy euro

that was like overpressure pot in consolidation now some pips in EUR/CHF crushed so many accounts

SL doesn't matter during moves like this, its the same like you didn't have it...the move is so fast, until the trade gets closed, 90% of the move is done, anyway. SLs only work during normal market times.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

I had a buy limit @1640 , without a stop loss , I felt like I was crucified when I got the alert ! happily it reversed back to +1700
