DislikedSomething which baffles me, and hopefully someone can explain it to me is why so many people use the term "Stop hunt', but when they identify the price action as being a "stop hunt" why don't they take the trade in the direction of the stop hunt. Although taking no trade is wise, if you believe the market is going to hunt stops, wouldn't it also make sense to follow the "money train", and once price action slows down then take the trade you wanted prior to the stop hunt?Ignored
My observation especially at event times (news), the market will move the price up and down in order to hunt for the stops. the "U" turn is often swift and hence perhaps a difficult trade to monitor.
I think it is better to consider the overall sentiment whether it is a bear or bull trend on the timeframe / period you are trading. Then wait for the risk/reward upon the entry point.
