the weather was mild and Christmas employment. oil may not show up till next month, and even then, the ones using cheaper energy may hire more to offset any oil layoffs. .

still watching the yen, it more then not agrees. but a drop in unemployment may cause uj higher and eu lower. watching to see reaction at uj R if a chance is given. eu may bounce some then.. i closed my uj short too early. changed plans with yest pa. i would now be waiting at b.e. +.. for uj to drop and eu to short from higher, if not for yesterday pre nfp consolidation

No up on oil, Saudis declined any supply cuts in name of OPEC.

I think the non US economic (Europe stagnate, Japan in recession and Emerging Countries Collapse) weakness are going to start charging a small toll on US numbers. Wouldn't be surprise a major correction from last month NFP numbers (they are outside of the normal mean) and a "smaller" number this month (below 200k).

For NFP trade this will translate in micro intraday/daily swing from current levels to 1.194x fuelled by weaker short hands stops at these levels. Any better number to play the range 1.183x to breach the lows (1,173x). Numbers in line with expectation, just a non event ...

Let see the numbers...

the inflow of investment will still go where cheaper energy is for manufacturing. the u.s. already has what china is trying to achieve( a domestic consumer base where exports are less important)...
