There we go, Cable also popped 1.51 at the same time. Lets see if they both manage to hold above. A pin bar puts a lot of upward force if NFP does not hit the target. Not saying it will go up, the news will decide that.

I think that just might have been the UK guys trying to collect for the end of the day. If we go higher it won't be until the afternoon for the US session. I am short until after lunch of the US session

Looks like bulls getting gathered up for a kick in the nuts...

Looking higher for 50 or 3/4 retrace- 1805 isnt gonna cut it for me.

tomorrow is key folks, the way usdjpy is acting kast few weeks and no noise from BOJ heading into early 2015, my guess is big boys awaits for NFP to double stack their bets on the dollar,
They are feeling comfy to buy usd against shitty currency like euro and gbp, but aud and nzd is weakness is slowing, gold is also meh...
Dollar is waiting on something to make a beating on the entire basket.
Watch out for tomorrow's NFP and the reactions from it.

Agree h1 wants lower. I didnt pulled trigger on short today too bad is it droped nicely, will look for setups tomorrow.
Any positioning you have on gold? I see higher, but no trades atm.

GOLD
Retracement started from overbought, if price holds above 1200 (re test of previous tops) will be a bullish sign, I shorted from .786 Ret D1 and waiting for some movement. I am not adding as there are a couple of things showing something might change, like divergence widened between Gold and Oil.

EURUSD
It's amazing how best setup today was on 5 Mins chart, perfect ABCD, well done! looks like similar setup on Gold but down.

the eurusd seems to be breaking out of its channel upwards on an hourly chart. i wonder if folks are already anticipating nfp to cause a turn around tomorrow?

Forexfactory sentiment is to sell EUR/USD all of a sudden (as seen on home page). That would make buying EUR/USD a great idea. Go against the hurd.

I see the euro pushing the 1.21 are over the next few weeks before the next big move down. sure as hell aint gonna buy the euro right now though.

You can fight about it all you want, but its a fact that the trend is your friend. go against the it and you will get burned in the long run

Well stocks sure recovered in a hurry... just on the back of the oil price being checked. 1.1838
is my level here and hold above marking profit taking is still my call.

In the present, however, Watching A/U for a potential fade.

nah, seems too late to buy for now, will probably turn back down before it goes up much more. sweet pull back to get back in short possibly? at least till a few hours before nfp? but yeah i'm very new at this and just learning from the responses i get. i have ordered Essentials of Foreign Exchange Trading to further my education, but it's gonna take 2 to 3 weeks to be delivered, so yeah....forex factory will by my class room for the moment, plus the hard knocks school of trading my first real account, hehe....
