with a shipping and tourism economy, they can do better using their own currency... if they set up a air hub they could take a good share of all Europe's air flow from asia and the americas (world). i could cheaply fly in, spend time there and use rail to see all Europe . in the mean time the tourist would be bringing usd, yen, euros and so forth to back its own currency.. all they would need to do, is be cheaper then the other outrages hubs, like Paris, London or Frankfurt. i really dont see a problem, in china/Korea giving the money to build a port for them as a gateway to Europe for china or Korean products.. further increasing greek dominance. with 0 debt, a lot of doors open.

Housing prices will fall 50% overnight with the decling currency Drakmer that will fall 50% overnight. It is not that easy but good for foreigners to buy house

If you think that EU is worrying about Greece this chart can put some light on it. As you see the biggest banks from EU countries has reduced their exposure in Greek debt, so I would not be surprised if Germany approach the idea of Grexit after January elections.
