The USDCAD is more likely to remain chopped between 1.1595 and 1.1665 during the rest of the year. Either side break can become important for the pair. Downside supports is 1.1500 while the upside resistance remains near 1.1730 and 1.1750.

The pairs failed to close below support line break and is again testing the upper line, likely to reverse again.

counted base + 12 days and January 1st was the Liftoff, Dec 31st was the lower test and failure.
Now, this is base +2 day Pop. Mathematics put this move close to 1.119 just short of 1.120
Here is a 20year Monthly Fibonacci..

Not so Fast, Dollar strength decouples from Oil as Cad is a commodity currency.

Expecting the big downward reversal, but the price action in the last 24hrs. has been corrective and as such for US Dollar - looks like one more leg up to go.

Even if the pullback from the ascending trend-channel caused USDCAD to test 1.1730, only a break below 1.1680 can cause considerable declines into the pair.

well, I trade this /6C future and a bounce will just be shorted once again. Cad appears to be below down channel here as I post this.. Anything can happen.
