Just popped to say Hi and wish you a Happy New Year!

I haven't traded for 10 days since the liquidity is low, just analyzing old charts.
Will return middle of the next week, when me and the market get over our hangover

Question: How do you guys and girls trade in this condicions I just dont see any "valid" setups, just asking.

Good morning everyone,
(it's 5:30 a.m. my time)

Let me tell you share with you what I did last night & how I traded it.

I put on 4 trades last night & went to bed. I just liquidated
out of my trades. Short the eur/jpy, eur/aud, eur/gbp,
Long aud/usd. When it was all said & done I'm up 105.6
pips. (3 winners & 1 loser). 75% winners, 25% losers.

I made my best analysis (educated guess), set my trades &
went to sleep & didn't mess with the trades. I do this all
the time & it works. I'm done for the day...now I can go play

Just showing you my perspective on how Tms works...

Edit: I was short the aud/usd for a loss (not long).

many thanks snarlyjack for your kind post.l was awake too but did not see trade in those pairs while awake. pls can you post some chart of your entry so that i can learn from it

Nice to hear that, I like the approach even tho I am still learning as well

Do you wait before the trade goes safe in BE and then go to bed or you just put the trade , and then let the market do its call

Any ideas how to start this journey, ie set a trade and come back laters, see big E done that as well

Hello you all, I am new for here...and want to say that I liked this system and started to back test it and demo trade too.
The backtest análisis is going very well, and in demo I just have only 2 trades taken, I use it in eurusd 1 hr charts.

Here the chart whit trade open yesterday:

Tms was started by Eelfranz who lived on the west coast of the USA.
Because of the time difference he had to switch to a higher time frame (4 hour/daily)
set his trades & went to bed. What he found out was it works really good
on the higher time frames. Who would have guessed that...

I'm from the west coast of the USA also, so I was attracted to the system for that
reason. Set your trades & go to bed. I've been trading this way for 8 years now.

What I do is analyze the pairs. Get in the trend, set my trades, set my stop loss
and turn off the computer. Get up in the morning & check everything out. Then
liquidate out or convert it to a daily chart trade. (Since it's so close to New Years
I just wanted to take my profits & run).

I normally trade 3-4 pairs every night. I would say 75% winners, 25% losers.
The problem is I don't know which one will end up a loser. I just play the odds
and take what the market gives me & go about my life. But it works out. I can't
see a reason why a person could not do this for the next 30 years. I just kinda
do my thing & try to have a really good life...

I think the secret is...trade this way, get used to it, keep it clean & simple. Don't
worry about it & let the statistics play out. Your edge is letting the numbers
play out in your favor. If you take a loss so what. You will have more winners
than losers...Tms is a pretty awesome system that works. Tms is your edge...

Thank you.

It's like driving a car. When you get into your car you expect
it to work. You really don't need to know how the car works
mechanically, you just expect it to work...

This is exactly the same thing...I just expect it to work & make
profits. I don't worry about the small stuff. I know that 75% of
my trades are going to be great...don't sweat the small stuff.

Good Morning,

Guys I just want to fire out something that I think may help some newer guys regarding what SJ is saying because I think its said before here but a lot of people are missing it. The reason TMS will continue to work for the next 30+ years as SJ says or really as long as their market for us to trade, is because successful application of TMS is based on pure price action.

When you go back through all of the attachments of images of trades that the guys who are really trading this profitably, Eelfranz (RIP), SJ, Emmanuel, PHx62 blah blah bunch of others post, look at their set-up closely, you will see some form of PA set-up, be it a Pin Bar Reversal, Double/Triple Top, Bearish/Bullish Engulfing Bar etc. They are not just entering because TDI is below 50 and the yellow line peaked up between my nut sack and my ass, they are using the TDI and the MAs as confluence to the Price Action Set-up. You are seriously fooling yourself if you think because the TDI crosses and a candle changes color you have an edge. BUT.......


When you have a good PA signal and TDI Confirmation, Candle Color Change, S&R is clean etc etc (post 1 of this thread) you will repeatedly have a large edge and should generate a lot of profit. The indicators here are used as confluence to the PA story, without a PA signal, your weeping in the wind!

I have been away from TMS for some time so trying to catch up, a question to SJ if I may.

Are you using an EA to set up your trades and which broker are you using.

Thank you SJ, glad you teach us how to make it so simple, it might be far but one day I am going to do that as well, set the trade and let the market do the work for us


I just got into Gold, I missed the initial move, so activate a retracement to EMA 10 plan, I went following EMA 10 on M5, I set a pending buy order which was not activated because of spread, PA came to the pip of the pending order and reversed, so I went in long on the rejection of EMA 10 on M5, first position

Second I waited a bounce of TDI above EMA 10 on M5 and almost TDI cross, went in with another position, both positions worked out so well at the end for +50 and +100 for total +150 pips
