You have to increase the resolution settings, if possible.

Thank you very much friends for help. But I've increased the resolution to the limit and I have 1366 x 768 and I did not help.

Hi all, thanks so much for your work of art seller9, bravo! To solve the resolution problem purchase a cheap 20" monitor and attach to your laptop... Regards Tony (only found this thread today and very keen to give the system a workout)

Try to reduce to 1280x1024, so I helped, though a bit unpleasant to watch. I apologize for my language.

I have just set up the Basket Writer v4 and it is too big for my MT4 page and therefore i can not see everything that is being shown on the screen. Can someone please tell me how to adjust the size.

Hello and Merry Christmas to all,

Regarding SCREEN-SIZE for the new basket writer version 4: The basket writer is NOT an elastic, scale-able thing. Most webpages and applications will scale to your screen size... that is, they will get bigger or smaller in relation to the size that you make your window on your screen.

The new basket writer version 4 does NOT have this flexibility. Therefore, your screen (Monitor) must be big enough (1600 x 900 works) and your graphics card must support that resolution as well.

Note however, that if you are using a small laptop with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768, or 1024 x 600, you will not be able to view the new basket writer version 4 on a larger attached monitor if you are using certain VPS, such as AWS, unless you are using Windows 8 OS on that laptop.

Windows 8 will adjust your AWS screen size automatically. If you are running XP or Vista, and are looking at an AWS window, and you have a tiny laptop and even an external monitor, you won't be able to see the whole basket writer on your screen. What's worse, is if you try, you can't get to the buttons to stop the robot, so you won't be able to remove the EA without some fancy footwork.

I totally agree DarranForex...

I bought a new 22" monitor for $99 AUD and that is with bells and whistles!

I am sure a cheap one for $50 will do!!!

before i also have same problem. but mostly i work remotely and i edit by RDP and added new screen size "1920x1080" , its free and working fine.
vimware machine also may help if someone using it.

Hi Seller9,

I think with all the issue surrounding the screens resolution, it may take this thread in to a different direction of screen issues instead of discussing picking of the right baskets to trade which is what this thread is all about in the first place.

Therefore. Seller, if there is really any thing you can do to enable people to use any screen resolutions with your new writer, it will greatly help every one in coming back on track with trading baskets and pairs as opposed to Screen Issues and displays discussions.

A thought is to narrow the Blank Screen in the Middle where the chosen baskets gets displayed. I think that space is just too wide and can be narrowed if possible and if that will help.

I know it may take a lot of work to reconfigure your codes but if that will save all this chat about screens, then may be it is worth looking in to Seller9.

As always, it is just a thought and suggestion for the benefit of every one and newbies and the non techi amongst us.

Hi, I follow your video in all the details everything looks working fine but what happen is:
when i write a backet file, i refresh, i right click->Indicators list->Barcket V3....-> Ok
the offline chart is always on Waiting to update.
can you please give me an advise?

OK, here is some kind of temporary solution (not very elegant) to the resolution problem. Thanks to Hukam, who pointed this out.

1. Install virtual machine (I tried with vmware).
2. Install operating system on it.
3. Install MT4 with Seller's EA's.

In the virtual machine you can choose higher resolution than your monitor allows. If you set higher resolution it will appear scrollbars, wich you can slide and see the whole picture and respectively all of the Basket writer v4.

Here is my initial resolution.

Hello everyone
To those of you who aren't having a break from trading, I'd like to discuss money management, and in particular the "add to trade" function.
Could anyone tell me their opinion on how they're using this function?

Me, personally, have it set to 3 adds for 0.3 lots each, 10 pips in profit. With a starting lot of 0.01 (Using this on a JPY7basket)
My reasoning behind this is that when the EA opens trades in more ranging milieus its risk is low and I feel fine if it's reaching its exit(I've set exit to when HAS touch PA). And as soon as the market isn't ranging it'll add the addiditonal trade volume quickly enough so that I can benefit from its' profits.

Could anyone else post how their opinions on this function?
