Hi Likica,
I am also watching AU M15.
Thinking of long, but I am concerned AU H1 TDI is still pointing down at 40.
Any suggestion?

thanks GS. Baby trade (m15) had supports from itself (200ma) and from the big brothers (H4, H1 M30). I still left lots of green pips from EU

Hello All!

I would like to introduce myself with this post, as I am planning to follow this beautiful strategy and will post my analyses/trades here for questioning and advice. Been reading the thread for a few weeks now and got a lot of inspiration here. Begin 2014 I was very interested in stock trading, during my search for information on stock trading I found out about Forex. Since than I have only demo traded and made all known beginner mistakes . Found out about expert advisers, started to write my own. Very soon I found out I was never going to be profitable with EA's but I continued as it was a way for me to learn about price movement and it led me to different information sources where I learned more about Forex and different indicators.

I eventually reached the point where I only wanted to trade price action with perhaps a few indicators and S&R.. but I never could stick to a system as the rules were just not clear enough, or I found out soon that the trading style could not be maintained (trading lower timeframes while having a day job).... and than I stumbled upon this thread...

Since there is so much info in this thread I did not read everything but it has been truly an eye opener. I am very excited to start with this system the upcoming year; as I have a day job I will start trading from Daily & 4H charts. The London opening will occur 09:00 my time. So just before I leave the house to go to work I will check the 4H candle of 03:00 to 07:00, set my alarm at 10:55 to check the next, and close the trades at 15:00 (New York opens 14:00), or leave them open if it looks good. This said, I will put a trading plan together the upcoming days, defining the original entry/exit rules of TMS of course, but also my short and long term goals as a proper guidance.

So I am looking forward to start trading and share my trades/learning progress with you all. For now, I wish you the best holidays and thanks for all the information I have found in this thread

He's not joking, he's absolutely correct. SJ is talking about catching 80% of a leg up / down.

Here's an example from two weeks ago on eur/aud. The yellow lines are roughly 80% of each leg up when the TDI crosses above the 50 line. I don't know about you but, I could live quite well on the dollar amounts traded for those moves.... actually, I could live quite well by catching 50-75% of those moves.

I have been testing this system for 6 months and I suggest any newbie do the same before going live. You need to have full trust in any system and that comes through time with ups and downs. Im 1H behind you, and I trade 4H, Daily charts. It works well. When I started I had many many pairs (12). I didn't want to miss any signals and get a real knowledge of this system, but in doing that I hindered my progress. I then cut it down to 4 pairs but just now I only trade on one - GA. I have learnt the hard way previously to not rush in and get a full understanding before jumping in.

I would advise obviously reading the best of Big E from the paper clip and then practice practice practice. I have made an agreement with my self that I will not go live before March to fully understand the system until it is second nature. I have been back testing on the GA, I have been taking a note on every 4H TDI cross, max pips available, 40pip target hit, max draw back, profit/loss@ change of candle and profit/loss@ hook of TDI. I have many months in a spreadsheet which gives me confidence in this pair, understanding how it moves, previous PA ect. I know that the past cant predict the future and that's why I have been taking every TDI cross on the test. I would recommend anyone looking to start this system to do the same. Patience, discipline, mental strength, trust and a plan you stick to, is the only why you will succeed. Its not easy, its takes a long time, but with determination one day I will make the 1000 pips a month Emmanuel makes, I know that can only happen through time and a good foundation.

Thanks for your reply, GreenGoblin. Exactly how I am looking at things at the moment. I noticed that there was no clear line in my previous learning progress, I was just "fooling" around. That is why I want to set up my trade plan more like a businessplan, with different phases. Only continue to the next phase if the subtargets are reached.

For example:
Phase 1: Learning the system, only demo trade for "X" period. (Targets: fully understand system, end a certain period in profit)
Phase 2: Start with microaccount, only 0.01 lots.
Phase 3: Raising risk.
Phase 4: Adding pairs.
etcetera...

I wanted to only look at the majors + GA (as this one seems one of the favorites on here) in the beginning, but I will have a second look on that and might cut down to fewer pairs.
