i see little missed except the uj went higher. i am not a bottom picker just for the sake of being contrary.. i am still very bearish as i was at 39xx.. for the 5+- pips i risk.. the unlikely reward is worth it. where i can short higher.. u/chf indicates this is bs ( bounce to 2469 before 2202).. it does have a possible retrace of about 50 pips at current levels . or 9801 before 9931. atm at 9845

what do you mean? agreed trend is down, but monday from open it went up 50 pip and down 50 pip 1st 12 hr bear was burnt 2nd 12hr bull was burnt
in the middle it took 11hrs to roll over with wicky leggy shit, bears had hard time to get entry without whipped out, then for 2 hrs she dropped, did you get entry inthe 2hr drop? because other wise bears got spanked rest of day :nerd:

2233 +- is probably the one to beat with a close or not.. i wont be surprised to see 2251 again, and if the high of 2272 breaks .. 2327 is a possible target.. X2 is 2438.. still below 2469.. but near

on the bear side 2251 then a LL and 2160 is in play. in line with directional trend and the larger 2125 target.. another trend is 2469 before 2202.. against directional trend and under 2233, makes this hard, but 2469 happens more times then not.

Well i was short since last week. So the drop to end session hit my target.. And i just meant trend is my friend.. Been shorting this pair for months. been working well

yep bears have feasted since May "But" beginning of october again november again december, bulls have launched attacks, agreed trend / bears have repelled thus far, my point was although bears have been feasting with the tren,d it has been hard work since early october
trend trader (with no sl) is normally saved by trend, problem is when trend is attacked and even worse reverses,
last 3 months stops for both have been getting whipped
not saying it is going to reverse, just its dangerous times to trading with sl and especially without sl
"it has been a nice bearish year, this years candle hasn't been seen since 08 crash

if i was able to monitor this 24h per trading week cycle my dd would be better. i also started using too much leverage early on (if draw down could be avoided, i can up leverage). i have since cut that in 1/2. i will continue with 250$ per trade and as account grows dd will be ok.... i can increase size later.. its at 12 trading days atm and up 56.6%.

agreed..

unless things change, fundamentals should keep the overall trend bearish.. will continue to wait for good entries and short the bounces

watching data releases closely :nerd:

Something awkward happened a few minutes back. I had some EU long positions and were closed at 1.2306 at 02:59 GMT. I had TP levels much below 1.23 , definitely not 1.2306. I am not complaining since my long EU positions are closed (though not huge risk) but trying to understand what is going on.

Post the screen shot of your historical trades. What you are saying does not make sense. You were long eur/usd from where? Were did they close? If they closed at 1.2306 you should be very happy because your tp was much below that. Where was your tp? What do you mean by "(though not huge risk)"?

If you understand what I am saying, good ........ if not, open another bottle of vodka.

Awkward is not the word my friend. Put down the crack pipe. EU hasn't traded at 1.2306 since last Thursday. Not to mention if you were long your TP levels should at least be higher than your entry. I'm sure your broker would love to hear you explain this one...

Positive slippage (spread widen bid and ask price) seller match buyer. There's seller at 1.2306 and matching your volume and wiling to accept your offer at much lower price and seller is absorbing crazy spreads. Rarely seen this too often but happens all the times for crosses such as AUDNZD, EURNZD, etc
