how many pips do you guy expect to gain from each trade, particularly on 4hour chart?

Shay,

I make at least 1,000 pips per month.

Sometimes more sometimes a little less, it depends
on market conditions. Which is 250 pips per week
which is small...but when I set my goals for the year
that is the number I work with.

Thanks for sharing this info Monthly approx 1000 pip. Just a small question ?. This 1000 pip is how much profit in % term.

I really don't compute profit.

I use my account to fund myself, I try to take out
as much money as possible, I don't compound.
I leave in a fixed amount of money & take out the
rest through out the month. I look at this as a
business with expenses & revenue. One of the
big expenses is me...

Thank you for saying this. I've long be frustrated by the thought that one had to grow their account to $50-100k in order to have enough equity to begin making withdrawals on a monthly basis to live on. This always seemed like an impossible goal. Its nice to hear that one could work a small account (ie ~ <$5,000) to $10-20k, leave that as the risk equity and withdraw the profits monthly to live on. Looking at it from this perspective, it doesn't seem like such an impossible task.

Also, with broker shenanigans and the occasional closing of brokerages due to CEO's trading customer money.... I've often asked myself, why on earth would I leave a large amount of money in my account??? I'd rather keep a constant month-to-month balance and put the rest in my physical pocket. If a brokerage goes bankrupt (think IMF Global or PFGBest), your money as a customer is GONE ! Take your profits, pay yourself on a regular basis.... be it monthly or quarterly.

This can be a weird question / doubt ...
Please observe the 3 following charts ... Note that I have same set of Indi in all my charts ... I have checked the indicators and objects ... But cnt see anything related to this Green circles ...
I have it on all charts except EU ... in few charts only at the line that separates the top and bottom window ... and in few charts in candles area also ...
Could some one educate what are they and if they are irrelevant, how to remove them?

I'm unable to help you but just a quick question. What indicator is the green pip counter?

Are you using an indicator that draws trend lines ? I have one that i use in MT4 and it often leaves those at the bottom similar to yours, but i found that if i changed time frames and came back they would be gone. I think it is just a bug in the indicator but not sure.

It s ATR projections and note that price could move beyoung or did not reach those lines so need PA + TDI to enter a trade . indie is in paperclip on the top right if you need.

Some traders were asking me thru PM how to use MTF TDI, I thought it saves my time and help coming/new traders by bringing it up here.

It s not my invention so the best person to ask is Lastingwell. I must thanks LW for this idea as it has saved me.

From my experience, it s not accurate when backtesings as it repaint, use it for the moment you are looking at a signal forming, let s say M30 is forming a buy and HTF TDI in this case is H1 still stepping down, it s a sight telling you to wait as sellers still strong until you see HTF turning toward your trade direction or crossed or look at PA to see LH HH....

Another thing is avoid entering a trade if there s a signal on current TF but HTF s still at overbought (tdi >68)/ oversold (tdi<32), wait until HTF to move away from those levels.

LW, pls correct/direct me if I am wrong or miss any of its benefit.

Ok, So I was reading previous posts earlier and I noticed many of you had mentioned Gmma, I googled and noticed that the indicator or EMa that were mentioned help with the trend. and also entry levels. I added them to my chart. but I feel as it makes my chart looks super crowded. as you can see in the image. I have gotten more and more comfortable with TDI this passed week. trading my real account. the only money I have lost was because of getting greedy but so far I recovered and now I have taken profits. so far up 10% my account. I can follow TDI and keep my charts clean and continue profiting. or I can learn how to use GMMA. If someone please explain. thank you. I have attached the indicators I have found on GMMA, That I added to my chart.
