nice 93 pips on gbp/chf...I opened this way early today and had my doubts for awhile thru FOMC nonsense but that 4 hr tdi is the best thing EVER! hit my trail, I wonder how far itll go?

Congrats wyley187!!! I was just looking @ UChf - same deal - looks like it has room to the upside W1 resistance some 60-120pips... too risky perhaps (candle 2 entry)... theres heaps of possible setups coming up LO anyway...

stop hit on eur/aud short +55....wow what a great night, I still can't believe how this system has changed my trading....I've traded since 2012 and I have never been close to being this consistent, I'm at an 80% win rate and my losses have been very small while my winners have had some legs...I know this may not be an actual part of the system but when I've hit big moves I watch the 5 and 15 min TFs for exits and its been spot on, I may not get all the pips in a trade but it has saved me sooo much trouble with giving pips back.

should have expected H1 retracement..to enter at lower price

nop, wasn't hedging. 1st entry got in and then trailed it. and then i got in afterward after price moved the other way.

I short @ 1.517.., closed at 1.507.. too early again...next time should use trailing stop instead...
thanks to Moretti, otherwise I would have missed the train.

I agree this is great system, many thanks to the founder and contributor in this thread.

That is a lesson for me on MM and take profit was 60 pips up and got stopped out +5 that will teach me

Do u wait for candle close or u enter when the price breaks the trigger candle...im curious cos ur entry on EU was mid candle right???

I have question:
For example: what if H1 is in the same trend as D1, but H4 is the opposite?
Is it safe to enter based on D1? Any suggestion?

Just wanted to know, how do you know when to wait for london open (incase there is a reversal) or when to enter early in FO.

Normally, I wait for confirmed APB on M30 to complete then enter on the open of next candle. Note that looking at H4 & H1 is a must when entering M30 ( to see if there s any conflict)

Honestly I was concerned about 200ma on EA M30 in this case that s why I was a bit late, but I looked at PA again seeing price was stepping down and bounced off guppy so I got in wearing protection hat ready to exit if it bounced back, luckily both of them did not.

I then switched my chart to M15 then M5 to monitor both trades staring at TDI (moving PT from 50 to 70 then 80 then 100 where I saw price could take a break....).

It a probability game, so I can be wrong. FO LO is the best time to trade (but pls do homework and get ready for the moves). I got burnt many times during TOK/SO, so don't try. just wanted to share....

Thanks Kingdomk. Being wrong many times during TOK/SO moves made me awake. if there s a reversal, exit the trade.

There will be many situations when there is CONFLICT in the different trends in different timeframes.
One way to avoid being caught in the conflict is to reconcile all the trends of different timeframes when we make a market entry.
The TIMING of the market entry is very important other than just knowing the trend of the moment.

Trading with TMS 5-Method, we have the benefit of reading the candle size of the APB and the price momentum using the TDI. When we see synergy in both the price VOLATILITY and MOMENTUM, that is our entry condition. Your initial SL will be seldom threatened under such condition.
