The thing is sure anyone can say both ways are possible nobody knows that, but discussing policies defenetly 1.000 is more likely than 1.5000+ if you take account current policies and planned / expected ones. The only way EU could seriously strenghten towards 1.4 or beyond is if FED completly dissapoints, launches another QE 2015, or even considers rate cut. If none of those or bulk of those happen, chances for 1.000 are far greater than any significant up targets. Now lets throw on demise of Petrodollar and Feds policy to keep dollar afloat trough combining with other CB policies (as petrodollar flows turn negative), policy to create inflow of capital from Bricks since 2008 by turning capital back to USA (even though additional expenses of higher rates), lower currency values of other countries except USA (benefits of exporting -AUD, EUR), currency war against Russia (strong dollar+Oil down impact), ...and on and on...and you can shape out 1.000 EU or maybe even lower.

hmmmm... I just checked the US CPI.
I started thinking that FED might go dovish today.. how do you guys think?
Isn't it possible for them to be more dovish since they have decreasing numbers on an inflation figure?
I thought they are targeting above 2%
