You must have if you either use no SL or don't get out of a trade on a pullback, when it goes against you. Being stubborn will only lose you money in forex.

40 pips wont matter, just wait it out. The only issue is its a weekend so wait till the end of the day and if nothing happens accept loss and get out.

Seen this a lot, unfortunately i have seen on this forum and a few others that statements like this doesn't bold too well and gives in a lot of criticisms about your trade plans, money management and "never" gamble money you don't have etc..

This is my plan as well. By the time we get to top 1.26 there will be plenty of screaming and calling for 1.30 and people going long. This is when you have to take the shorts. Today @1.2420 I closed my 150K EUR shorts and will start building short position from 1.259 onwards.

There is just too much noise about a short term reversal now to go against it even with the fundies intact as they are. If the big guys say the went long that means they will keep pumping it. EUR @ 1.28 should convince ECB to start QA in January. Then we'll see reversal and 1.18 level. Probably it will coincide with markets rebound and oil reversal, which by the end of Jan should be around $50

i still recall the times when i started trading with only 500, i was literally entering 0.01 lot..... and adding increments of 0.01 lots....

The fuck is your point? 12480 seems like a level that's hard to breach apparently, hell take 12500 even, still... waiting it out is the best option

This sounds painful. I don't think I could trade anything less than 10 lots at any giving time hahahaha. Then again I only started with 2k years ago.

Dude, no offense, but a trained monkey can keep shorting on the way up and longing on the way down...if you can't close a losing trade, you don't trade, you just play...

a trained monkey wouldnt know how to MANAGE a losing trade.
closing is not always the best option. there are better ways to make it back.
