Good morning everyone...
(it's 6:30 a.m. my time & N/Y session is getting started)

I had this dream last night

What are my goals for 2015

My #1 goal is to get super good at trading!!!
No matter how long you have been trading you can
always get better...

My goal is to quit making stupid mistakes & really get
dialed in. No more emotional mistakes. Follow my system to
the "T" & make a lot of money.

That's my goal...really sharpen up what I'm doing.
Now all I have to do is plan out exactly how I'm going to accomplish this.

That's my thought for the day

good morning/afternoon folks.

Only one trade for now today, I was busy with the new internet connection...

GBP/JPY Short on H4 @11.00 (gmt+1)
I entered with two orders ... with different TPs, same SL. They are both around +20ish pips now.

NOTE: I like the TDI cross and I like that it's below 50, but two negative aspects:
- the cross is still around '50' area which is like a magnet, so maybe it will struggle to push down fast.
- the MBL (yellow line) is above '50' level.

we'll see.

I was 2 pips away from having my SL taken out on CHFJPY and the market turned in my favour.

Hi guys

Would anyone be able to recommend a pip calculator, because my mt4 platform only gives completed trades in currency format

Any advice would be much appreciated

If you right click on the trade you should have the option to swap from pips to currency.

Thanks nods, yes that is true for "open" trades, but its not a function of mt4 on " completed" trades unfortunately, it only allows currency.

bulls seem to be stronger .... I closed half of my position -40 pips.

SJ, already started my goal for 2015 as of now. Over past couple of months i've ended up with 8 different currencies and increasingly seeing my success rate diminish as I tried to keep track. So I've binned them all bar 2 and will focus entirely on GBP/USD & USD/CHF and stay focussed and patient untill I get this method nailed.

In both cases target was the 200MA, But its friday and the end of the year and i hate the PA at these times

I just liquidated out of the eur/aud on the 4 hour chart
and wanted to post it up. It was just touching the s/r levels.

SJ and Everyone else you guys are great. I'm glad I decided to start looking at this thread wish I would of started following 4 years ago when I wasn't making any good decisions. I have added the templates I found to my charts.

From reading I noticed everyone trading at a higher Time Frame. I was always focusing on 15 minute charts. That's probably why I kept on failing market was moving too fast and I kept on going negative with little to no positive trades. I see that first we have to look at the formation of TDI, and on the Second Bars close that's where I enter the trade.

Correct me if I'm wrong. If I would like to trade on the 1HR chart like everyone else do I need to look at the 4HR and 1D charts for Correlations before attempting a trade? Or do I just focus on the 1HR and look for the TDI (Green Below red) or (Red below green) for a bullish/Bearish entry after the 2nd bar closes?

After looking at the charts and everything that everyone has posted I noticed that this system is definitely a lot easier to understand with a clean Chart. without all those extra things cluttering many possibilities. I keep on reading the Thread from October to now. Looking to practice starting next week. I would like my goal for next year to be the year I finally enjoy trading and it becomes the life changing opportunity I've always wanted.

PS: Thank you all for being in this for the long term, Looking forward to making good friends and staying active as I become better and sharing my experiences with new comers like myself and some day teach what I learn and help other along the way.
