depend what you mean by "lately" 2008 was game changer, markets are still under this effect, pull up clean charts cable and eu, zoom right out on both and you will see
eu right now was very good resistance in 1998 since the break up and retest 2004-2008 it has been building as support it is such a important level been pierced a few times but overall has held

cable prior 2008 these level proved as support more than resistance, post 2008 she has trended east

2008 us raped the worlds markets, others benefited yen chf etc

i will repeat I believe usd is in for a spanking and deservedly so, yes eu train and other ladies has been bear since may this year, yes this is a train station, but will train continue or bounce, both have merit which has better r/r
I am super bear but not here if bear train continue great, I have been studying to be bull if she is to bounce,

Careful those of you who are short on EU. It seems to me that the pair broke a falling wedge, and it might be headed north to 1.28. Again, don't trade what you think, trade what you see. cheers and green pips to all.

I never learned how to be an economist... and even worse if I had of done... "I really don not believe it would help me be a better trader" Obvious as the old saying goes traders trade what they see not what they think...

Its not all about the base... more about the psychology when trading...

Sorry FF, I am going to have to withdraw from visibility as my strategy is doing so astonishingly well, I don't want to tell the whole world... its been an amazing journey over the last few years... ive shown my account in full visibility mode...the ups and downs... but it comes a time when you cannot freely give your hard work to anyone...... goodluck everyone

That thinking will get you killed...
in fact if you looked at EURUSD and GBPUSD their correlation is barely above 50%

and theres a reason why EURUSD and GBPUSD dont move in tandem... thats when within the eurozone they are moving money internally, think of it like this...

Eurozone has 2 currencies. EURO and the GBP... so if EURO fudamentals are not good at GBP is fine. then thats why....

UK likely to hike rates earlier than Euro
while Euro is likely gona see more easing... you have a divergence in monetary policy AGAIN!
