GA is looking good to me with some div on the 1H/4H ... I'm not in this... also has hit longer term D1 resistance ...

GCad I dont trade....???

EJ... I dont really like this (dont listen to me though) cause its (HA) wicky and all over the place - I wouldnt take it short myself cause its looking like it could break-high (also has hidden div 1H)... (remember my spider senses - I'm a very conservative trader... lol... if something scares me mate I'm off like a ... lol)

Hi SJ
One of the things I'm struggling with is that its difficult to put some structure to my learning. I studied computer forensics at uni and I am a qualified Business analyst. It took about 7 years of studying and work experience combined before I could say I knew what I was talking about. I have been trading only a few months and some aspects of trading i have a good grasp off, some I have no clue (PA for example) but my expectation is it will take time.

Ah, okay..... so leave the wicky ones alone, even if a decent cross has occurred.

...thats the problem with trading - its not due to one element - you have to gather clues. But thinking in terms of TMS it looks like it might break high cause of the HTF. Compare the 1H with the 4H what do you see for EJ?

For example, likica trades by these basic rules...

BTW, Here are my basic rules when looking at a signal:
- is it facing S/R?
- is confirmed candle too little?
- is it going to retrace because confirmed candle has wicks both side?
- is current and HTF at overbought/oversold areas?
- how PA? (ranging, HL HH,..)?

Hey Griff. I don't like it either. Really strong uptrend on H4 and daily, gone flat in the 30min and already 4 read candles on the 1hr, I will be looking for a long when it turns.

That's my problem with trading... I never know which elements to prioritize, and in what order.

Well, I've been at it (trading) for 7 years total. 5 years worth of study, 2 years worth of live trading.

Just got back home, GA and Ej look OK to me. GCAD m not sure since I dont see a sign of bear yet (price still stepping up, no pin bar, no resistant, ADR too small (choppy)...blah blah...) well not so attractive... you tell me the reason you got in then...

hi guys and gals, just got up to scan some charts, not really seeing anything on the pairs I usually trade, looks pretty dead tonight, a possible bounce trade short on GBP/CAD coming up soon though, any thoughts on that one anybody? the candles look pretty weak but its right at resistance just like gbp/usd

What do you think AUDUSD daily? Possible retrace or change of direction. Been some aggressive attacks on the lows but have been rejected.

Massive div on the 4H - could be a nice 1H bounce trade - counter-trend.

Its a measured move on the D1 about to hit strong W1 support... this is the typical type of trade SJ would ride for 300... lol

I was there did that with very similar time (2007) & paid $$$$$$ for courses (got so much stuff in my head), but still have space and learnt so much for the last 6 months here in TMS thread . People in this thread are kind and patient and generous with their time and knowledge. What else do we need? our disciplines.
