Well, it was inline with expectations. The average mean among analysts were between 120b to 180b. The LTROs are technically and legally not printing money but a provisional bypass to provide liquidity in the system. The ECB has been doing this before thiese new TLTRO since December 2011 when the first LTRO round (489b) and later 2012 (539b).

Point being nothing new in terms of expectation as the number was inline. After the dovish and QE talk in the last ECB conference the only thing clear in terms of expectations is that there is no alternative but outright QE in the next quarter....

Techincally same levels apply....

I dont think so, SNB are defending thier own floor, 1,200 they have been trying to depreciate the franc not appreciate it,

Market seems to want a piece of the snb or at least test pocket depth, watching only but plenty of mini scalps been on offer, nothing like 2012 as yet, but Im pretty sure good scalpers have been having a ball
and if the floor holds and they are keeping risk free runners, they may get rich very quick with out even platforn on
