So I take it that the initial trading system that Big E used to start this thread with didn't end up producing the 200-500 pips a week as mentioned?

Here is a screenshot of the indicators that you mentioned that you all are using for this trading method. The TDI, S/R Levels, and following the trend with the 30,35,40,45,50,55, and 60 MA's set to EMA Close, along with the Price Action Channel using the SMA 5 High/Low for entries and exits. Is this correct? I see other indicators on your charts and other members charts, but I take it, they're not absolutely necessary?

With that said, can someone please direct me to the rules of trading this method? Thanking you in advance for your help!

You're becoming a great trader likica - wonderful to see - keep going!!! Ok, my confession, GChf hit SL @ -8pips ... tightened SL as it was going no where but fast (had around 145 pips - excluding my 110 from the start of the week) - I made a mistake cause the 4H PA looked congested but I only realized that afterwards... if you are wrong, you're wrong so get out of the trade! (There is no use in hoping the trade will come good as this is the same as saying you hope the TMS signal in the opposite direction is incorrect?)

There is no other necessary indicators on this system, except TDI and APB candles. Everything else is addition to the system, which everyone does by his own and choose what suits best to him. But the main thing is TDI and APB. Someone use MA's for support and resistance, someone use them for determine the trend, someone use SupDem indicator, someone use MonthlyWeeklyDaily Hi_Low indi to see the highs and lows and so on. But all these additions doesn't change the system - it's still TDI cross and candle patterns on APB. Very simple. Everything else is just little help for more comfortable trading.
You should read all the posts of Eelfranz at first. To understand the system. Also you should read posts of Phx62 (the best H1 trader here, as i think). Here are a lot of great H4/H1 traders on the thread right now, so also you can learn from them, like we all do.

Asian Session on EJ , good for +50 , at the time of taking the trade the cross of TDI was not that sharp, but followed PA as well

Good morning everyone,

ArchangelG,

When Big E started this thread in 2008 the market conditions were
totality different than today. If you go back to the daily or monthly charts
to 2008 you will see the huge moves in the markets. Big E made a ton of money!

Market conditions have tightened up quite a bit with a lot of chop (2010-2014).
Because of this we have had to tighten up the system to deal with chop.
This system is what Dean Malone came up with to deal with current market conditions.
So this system is more precise and tighter...

If you go back & read all my posts since mid October you have a really good
handle on the system. This system has some optional indicators that Big E
didn't use. But it's a very good system. This system is called "DOTS" and
it was put together by Dean Malone at Compass Fx. Their are lot's of
video's of the system at Compass Fx. Compass Fx charges $600.00 for the
system but your getting it free here. Do not buy their system! Think of it
as a freebee from Forex Factory. Most of us at Forex Factory are trying to
help traders... But as in anyplace their are some bad apples here so be
careful. For the most part Forex Factory is great & were just trying to help you!
This system Imho will help you. At least your trading with the trend!

What I see today on my charts is a bunch of
counter trend moves.

I watch the eur/usd, gbp/usd, aud/usd, usd/jpy & eur/aud.
They are all making counter trend moves on the daily.
In this case we have to wait it out until we get a good
signal to enter the market.

You can trade the counter trend moves but you need
to know that they are higher risk trades. Shorter &
more choppy than trend trades.

Patience pay's...No position in the market is a position.
What I like to say is, the market is taking a breather
for it's next big move. So, keep frosty

Hello to everyone especially the senior traders.
I'm glad to see everyone still here doing their usual thing.....that is keeping us newbies in check
I was without a PC for a while, had a power surge and it crashed my hard drive...hehe

Guys I'm setting up my charts and I'm having a problem applying the ADR indie, it freezes up the platform...
I tried it a few times and every time i had to uninstall the mt4 platform and reinstall
What am i doing wrong? Can someone please help with this issue.

i had this problem when i used ADR indicator. which one are you trying? Try xADR version. it is inside the paperclip.
