I'm not buying at 2340...there should be better long entries in the 2230-2280 range. Until then, everything above 2400 should be a good short...but only until 2500 is broken again...then shorts might be "dead" for a while.

Expect a possible test of resistance up to around 1.252; just don't consider 1.2500 in and of itself to be the absolute resistance. Be careful of shakeouts.

It's only when 1.2450/1.250 becomes support that we have a clear signal to leave.

Edit: If it comes beyond 1.255, then bears with low margins should bail out. They might not be able to withstand the final bullish momentum before the price drops.

2500 is very important on the way up...we were blocked a few times above that number...so another try at 2500+ should open 2620, at least. I will be very careful with shorts right above 2500.

I can't help shake off the feeling that if the EUR/USD rebounds back to 1.245 after making 1.2370 a support, we have a very good chance of going up to 1.250 after a small consolidation down to 1.240.

Or the markets might decide to suddenly dump them at around 1.240 like they did on December 5 2014. Then again, that's a bit unlikely considering the difference in news driving that day and this day (the expected "no QE" from ECB vs. the somewhat unexpected bad U.S. stock performance).

Everything that happens this week is happening because of thursday's LTRO news and US news. To me it looks like market makers want to spike the price up for a big sell-off on thursday, so I will be only buying dips until then.

There is a better chance for 3250 before 1800. Can't see this going below 2190 at this point, before a nice pullback.

Lol you used to say that too when eurusd was at 1.25 you said better chance to get back up to 1.32 before 1.2250

I said that when price didn't break 2500 and we went to 2860 afterwards...it was a nice long call. Once 2499 came, I was calling for longs between 2190-2250, again we got a nice bull run after 2247. If you want to short for 1.18, good luck. If I go against the trend, I must be the best trader in the world, looking at my profit %, but since I am not the best trader in the world, I guess I don't go against anything.

aussie has strong bids around 8275-8285 mark. some idiot really sold the hell out of it yesterday. there are plenty of shorts still in the aussie. yen looks like will do a deja vu today

yeah Fibo levels says its all about the PP 2370... 2340 is only the mid of 2310-2370. if you want something higher 1.24, 1.2340 has to hold, or else we go probably S2 or even S3 1.2214...

Wait a minute. The yuan's report is bad. But the yuan competes against the dollar primarily-if the yuan report is bad, doesn't that mean we'll see a resurgence of USD buying (and therefore a fall in EUR/USD prices)?

Note: That's EXACTLY what i'm seeing right now in the charts just following the latest chinese renminbi announcement.

Oh dear. Now I have to re-adjust my shorts for the "xxx/JPY" pairs. I can't believe I forgot that we have a news announcement for China.

How many times that UTL will defend or that just a scaling intervention line for ECB. lol
There was no valid reason for down after challenging UTL for the 5th time
