Another touch of the 61.8 Fibo Fan may be in order as this pair moves lower. Could be another short leg for me.

2 years is too short to be a day trader. good luck

Very true. It's a lesson I also had to learn and I'm glad I did. It changes your emotional behaviour dramatically and gives peace of mind.

What you state is simply an opinion...especially coming from someone asking about BBands.... if he is living off of his earnings and trades daily...he is a day trader.. he can be a retail day trader.....doesn't have to work for an institute...you are trying to say day trader corresponds to experience...

Good call. Almost hit 23.

With dealers net long and such a big sell-off in E/U it was only a matter of time to expect a retracement once sellers exhausted.

What happens now is fair game, listen to what price is telling you, follow her clues, and make that $$$!

That is exactly what I meant. I'm a retail trader trading for 7 years. I've been a scalper, intraday, swing and position trader. And my most horrible experience comes from being an intraday trader. And I believe that is not just my experience but most of the trader as well.

Of course that without being said intraday is not for everyone. At least not for me

If LON does not close below 1.22864 then I will move my SL to 1.2280 and leave my position open until LON opens tomorrow.

I’m new to the trading world (6 months demo currently) and I think when you first begin you see the stars in day trading and believe that’s the way to make most money. But I have found (even with my lack of experience) that swing trading using trends is a more reliable way to make money… In relative terms I would say it has less risk and less reward… but conducted by a good, experienced trader it could be utilized very well.

Just my opinion.

the trick is to have trades that cover all of the bases, our minds can analyse all time frames, and if we can manage our time in a very organized method, depending of course maybe not intra day or scalper if you have other commitments.

I will always be short time frame at heart as I have made most money here and the risk is much less on lower timeframes. But most of my money I have is invested and in a portfolio that has much less return to manage risk better.
