Let's see how my trades turned out. (eur/usd & usd/jpy)
On the daily & 4 hour...You can scroll back a few pages
for the initial set-up.

Look how everything stayed in the trend & traded
off of the pin-bars. It's as if "someone" knew something

Thanks likica yea my recent trade find the IB on the way. I do look for some candlestick pattern at swing point. On the GJ i wanted to enter at the break of the pin bar but the next candle produce an IB. Excellent trading on your Oil too

Couldn't trade Daily this week but got this GU H4 trade entered yesterday (+45 pips). To be honest I forgot what I was looking at the time of entry as I had to rush for work.
But the major focus of the entry was GU downtrend, TDI and PA below Guppy and outside PAC.

CM was set to take partial profit at 37 pips and let the rest run but when I switched my chart from H4 to daily the CM closed the rest of the position aswell.

Anyone interested in knowing more about it, see the video below found it on the same page where SJ found the previous video. I am half way through the video and couldn't resist sharing.
There are some gems in the video like
1. How the traders and institutions behave in forex
2. When we know that the trend is changing or about to change or have changed
3. How and where to enter the market
4. Where to exit

I believe that the above knowledge with the TDI signals can help us improve our trading and keeping us away from
1. over trading
2. pulling the trigger on wrong signals
3. making us patient enough to trust our method and trade accordingly

SO, Her Majesty Betty pushed the pound quite well but the spikes during NFP killed some pips...

GBP/JPY : The entry setup on H4, in my opinion was excellent:

  1. IB break
  2. ranging break
  3. tdi > 50
  4. mbl > 50
  5. tdi (green) bounced away from MBL (yellow)
  6. tdi (green) bounced away from '50' level
  7. D1 breaking out long

I entered as posted before at 11.00 am (gmt+1) , NFP was 14.30 (gmt+1) so around 13/13.30 I broke down my trade at +30 +40 and +60 , left the last 1/4 of order go with a generous TP of 110, and SL to BE+5.

Unluckily enough, it got my SL and the jumped up again, very close to my TP in few minutes.... unlucky but in profit anyway.

Heres my version of GJ _ H1 trade

At LO I was waiting to trade EJ or GJ, ended taking GJ since it had few obstacles to pass and was targeting ABCD completions, which worked at the end, took the break of LO first M15 candle which almost was the break of last FO _ H1 candle, TP hit for +100 pips

This is interesting, yes, but it has 2 weak points for my trading: I don't like h1 too much, and I prefer not having more than 2 positions on the same pair at once. But, 'per se' it's an interesting method.

What I do it's trading on the H4, checking out a bit on H1 and maybe entering few minutes before the H4 change, but it can be tricky. Given 100 the "next h4 open" usually there is always a bit of volatility acceleration during that very moment of the candle-change. So you can either buy 90 and then 100, which is good, or buy 110 and then 100 ... which is not so good. Generally I start hunting signal 30mins before the h4 candle change, and see what there's around.... but i don't have a fix rule, and 75% of times I enter only with one position at the candle-open as sharply as possible.

A relatively quiet week for me on EA H1 this week... positive all the same

4 Trades in total:
- 2 Wins (For a total of +100)
- 2 Break Even
- 0 Losses

Posted some of these already, but I always find it useful to look over the week's trades and see if there was anything I missed.

Monday: Entered short at LO (second red candle following a TDI cross, as per TMS rules). Moved SL to BE at +30 but got stopped out due to choppiness. Price did eventually go onto to hit my 50 pip TP but no bother.

Tuesday: Took an early entry (first blue candle and TDI touching, not crossed) long at LO. The early entry was backed up by a break of yesterday's low and a break of the third leg of the PCRF. Caught +50. As it happens, a standard TMS entry (on the second blue candle, following the TDI cross) would have also given me a positive result.

Wednesday: Went short at FO after a TDI cross and price breaking below the previous 3 red candles. Technically it was a 4th candle entry but the first 2 red candles had no bodies. Plus, I was expecting some momentum given LO was fast approaching. On EA H1 I have noticed that often LO candle follows the same direction as FO. Today was no exception.

Thursday: I was actually expecting a short entry at LO following the long upper wicks printed before London opened. Instead, LO moved upwards and then pulled back. Assuming the high for the session had now been set by the second London candle, I entered short (standard TMS entry). Knowing High Impact News was fast approaching, I moved my SL to BE. Unfortunately the news moved against me and took out my SL.

Friday: I tend to steer clear from trading NFP days unless I see an A+ setup around LO. No clear entry presented itself around LO so I sat on the sidelines today.

Phx62 has mentioned many times that EURO pairs tend to range and show very little volatility before major news announcements. I have found this to be true in many cases. Thursday and Friday this week were both good examples of this. Price hardly moved at all in the hours building up to the two HIN candles I have highlighted.
