Totally agree, specially the really high impact news like Yellen , Draghi or NFP´s can be harsh .
If i were in your + 55 pips or more , may be I´d do the same .

so : I´m 30 pips in profit and trigger to BE .. the signal was valid and I ll stay in ..
Cutting winners is not on my list .
During my training with the simulator I also haven t known when high impact news were ..
and I just handled the market conditions as well .

GJ closed for +85
GN is still running at +45 but, I will close it soon.

I prefer to get out of the way of NFP.

Excellent And what you were saying about the h4 candle, its not just a matter of data feed, various brokers close their candles at different times and as price can travel a long way in even a few minutes, 2 hours difference can be huge.

hmmm the dreaded nfp in 30 mins........maybe i should just BE 2 of the best performers and liquidate the other as precaution for slippage hey?....

Me too, i don't like NFP, its nice sometimes, but not so nice the other time.
u know what, ill BE all my trades, check back 30 mins after NFP, if its in green its good, if its all dead, its all dead. i got my new candle exactly 30 mins after NFP, so i can catch the next wagon to town...so long as the market does not decide to start playing see-saw game....

time to catch some more zzzzz

Juhuuu , hit my stop ..
some days are just bad days .. just keep in mind ..
.... but I did all correctly .. triggered after 35 pips in profit to BE and got stopped this way ..
Not nice but happens and belongs to trading .
Normally I had taken 2/3 positionsize out of the market when reached + 70 .. and a final TP below the next round number ( 18990)
I´m sure next week I ll get alll my pips back and get some more ....... CU then

Some good trade set ups over the past 16 hours. Sadly I have been away from my computer all this time. Just had my TP trigger on the UC for +40. Thats me done for this week.

I have only been following TMS for 3 weeks now. Still getting the hang of things and back testing lots. I have been trading only the 4H/Daily set ups. Missed plenty of good ones as time restrictions ect. Finished +267 pips, still on Demo and will continue on Demo until I have 3 straight months of consistent profit.
