On the last release on MT4 they introduced the "Depth of Market". Click ALT+B on your chart. There you can set the SL and TP automatically when you open your position at market. It's very convenient for scalpers like us.

Its a good thing you are getting a hang of this system
according to the original rules, TMA H1 has to be flat or has established an uptrend to take a trade.

I wouldn't enter at that point, the price hasnt fully lost it strength yet
both TMA are still actively facing down, Heishi is still red, and TDI could still pullback

IMO, Counter trend trades are best suited for trading range bound pairs or when volatility is very low. trying to catch bottoms against a strong trending pair like EU is right now, is a great way to empty your account. Choose your battles wisely. We are the generals....we choose the ground on which we want to fight. I prefer the high ground....just my .02

Hi all,

I have been reading posts with diferent forex strategies since middle august until I found Babon System. I like TMA bands (even when it repaints, I already know) and I love the concept of H4 & H1 as a filter to know if it is a day to trade or not and in which direction. I have read the whole 60 page pdf and I think it is a great system and it seems to have great results when traded with a DNA-style MM (as I have seen in several posts published here).

I just wanted to start looking at my charts with the templates and indicators given by Favorite (thanks a lot for your disinterested effort) and surprise I found I don't see the TMA bands in my Babon-B template. In fact I can't use this indicator in my Metatrader, don't know why but it even doesn't let me put parameters, it appears on the list but nothing else, it doesn't work.

Well, looking for solutions, as ever, I wonder if I can use other TMA indis I have been looking at these last months (i.e. FastTMALine, TMA Bands) with the same effect in the system as a whole and what parameters are the ones you use for TMA1, TMA5 and TMA15. Or maybe somebody can tell me how to solve this problem I have.

I just went live again.
Last time my i blow my account up because i took CT's wrongly,
I went back to the drawing back, tested my exploits on demos, i i believed i was fully prepared.
Then I went back to live account.
Today I could humbly say i recovered the loses on my previews account and bagged up some few pips to make my account positive.
This time around i sticked truly to the rules with ant CT's and it payed of good.
I wasnt greedy just took some few good pips and aggressive mm made by dnabrasil himself

here is my today's trade.

A quick question for u. Are unlocking at the Babon 1hr template BEFORE deciding what and when to trade?

i am happy you made pips. However, the GJ 1 hr chart has not indicated trading today. EJ was a much clearer picture. Just my .02

Well today, GJ was mostly sell H1 and H4 were but in heading down, though the market was very difficult.
that was the reason I took very few pips not to get burnt.
Yes H1 helps a lot in decision making.

Just took two swift two trade on GJ.

a short following a naked pattern +5 pips
and a long on a CT's +12 pips

Total= +17



Hope someone saw it coming and took the same?

every one knows this is so good to have naked pattern GJ CT make 5 pip and this is a positive trade to make the account now positive with the €9 more added to make up for the account blown up

I totally agree to what you said with "taking small profits are really good". It actually helps the mental challenge that comes with trading.
