hi there, i have tried placing tma mq4 at the right directory but the tma does not load on my mt4. Was wondering if the mq4 file is outdated?
It is not outdated, you should check it because I have this file working today correctly.
thanks for the reply. I solved the problem by pasting the ex4 instead.
I got a question, if h1 tma is over h4 tma do we have to strictly wait for it to go back into h4 tma or is there any profitable setups that can be done during this period? The Wait can sometimes be very long.

Your answer is on a below screenshot.
Ideally it will be better not to trade,but if PA on your side ,why not to try.Usually in this cases I am going for a fastest scalp and prefere not to be in trade too long.

The last trade for today and week.
I was planning to close at 0.8180,but after news spike plans just remained plans.So not the best result ,closed with slippage at BE - 0.9 point.

nice setup there. It was quite unpleasant to trade the whole day because it kept ranging,made some small losses along the way. I realise that when I have to wait for tma 1 to fully cross the ichimoku cloud, most of the price action towards the trend has already moved (resulting in little potential in getting required pips).Would it be better to use a more reactive tma for tma1 or is it just a case of h1 tma cross over h4 tma (unpleasant for trend trading)?
Are you still trading the way favorite described ? or is it changed anyhow ?

i was trading tma 1 channel pass ichimoku, but i guess its just not the right conditions to trade on a h1 tma exceed h4 tma day. On the contrary, i think that counter trending on tma bands seem to work out better during this period.

There was some patterns that favorite invented tma over cloud and so on according to favorite they was verry accurate do you use them in your trading ?

Not the good idea to trade countertrend positions in trendy days.
About 95% of trades I take are in the direction of H1 trend. Of course I tried to trade countrend enries,when price pulled back from TMA15 or 5,but was feeling very uncomfortable with them,so one day I found myself thinking that it is not mine.)

I can't create a new thread yet as I haven't been given the rights to do that so I would rather ask here.
1. Is day trading and scalping the same thing ?
2. What chart is best for day trading and what chart is best for scalping (1min , 30min , h1 etc)
3. What indicators are best for day trading and also for scalping ?

I really hope I am not asking a repetitive question and if this question has been answered on this thread then I would appreciate if someone could quote or show me the link to the answers. Digging through 390 pages for the answer is like finding a needle in a haystack.
