Only credit Suisse? Do you have how many hedge funds bet a move by the ECB today or how many more analysts expected a new QE announcement? Do more research and you will see. The ECB wants... Well, the ECB doesn't always get what it wants, does it? I was long from the very bottom, yes, and was out at 1.2400.

I don't know if I should hold onto this EJ short or take the TP. I expect EJ sideways movement, but it still has room to drop. Then again, if I close this one I am up 8% today. Edit: I closed it. That fast move was pure luck and I will take it and not look back.

I don't think the ecb is behind this thing, in fact the bloomberg article say nothing new, just what draghi said at the conference, perhaps using different ways to say it, leading the algos to interpret the situation differently (qe is coming).
Yet, nothing new from today ecb conference, even bloomberg itself clarified that on a tweet minutes ago.

The things can be two i think:

- the big guys wanted MOAR sellers to be trapped in this upmove, so are deliberately trying to mislead traders to sell.
- there was stops of leveraged long traders to be taken care of, and this rumor was the pretext to do it.
- some guys want the eur to go down and are desperate.

I still think that a rumor from an "not identified" source is less credible than the words of the president of the ecb on an official conference.

But the world is crazy nowadays

I read the article, ECB members that chose not to be identified, do you honestly think ECB members will leak such info without Draghi's consent? The whole thing was coordinated with him to talk down the Euro.

I think the RBA is intervening in the market, for sure. They will come clean one day like the RBNZ did. If you look at the monthly chart you will see the top H&S is in play as the neckline was breached. It will be interesting. I don't have anything on it at the moment aside the monthly chart, which will be tricky to get a nice entry.

it hit my target earlier from over a year ago. . i still want to sell it. most times after reaching a target it bounces soon after. i do want to short it. just waiting atm.. i am shorting verse the euro atm ea

If EURUSD does trade higher, don't say price manipulations or big money did that to get the Euro down and then backup. It is just the market reacting the news, digesting the news and then taking action.
