I'm in the process of reading the entire thread, but I did have a question for the members...

I've been researching and reading many of the commercial member threads and currently reading Vigovski's thread. He just recently released his dashboard indicator and is selling it for $249. The indicator basically rates all 28 pairs and calculates 15 indicators along with showing half-daily and half weekly movement and assigns them points. It is stated that this dashboard is very predictive. I imagine at the very least, is that it can make it convenient and make someone's trading easier by having all 28 pairs on a dashboard. Just not too sure whether or not it's worth the price. I've always had the mindset that these indicators just show us where price has been and where it is currently. I'm aware that price action is the best indicator out of all of them. But I'm doing my research to decide whether or not to pull the trigger.


Does anyone have any experience with this commercial member so I can make an intelligent decision? I appreciate any input that others can share. Thanks!

Guys, GO WITH YOUR GUT....just like pa trading...... ALL indicators are based on past price action.... What does that tell you?

I believe we can work something out, there has been a discussion about it, and some solutions have been suggested, like limiting the SL to certain point (100 pips, or smaller) 15 pips with 7 winnings still better than 1 lose with 100 pip.Overall we must thank you for Eitan for making us better knowledge by bringing this up

Vigovski is trader. He needs to show its results on a live account(trade explorer or myfxbook). Minimum 3 month. Better 6.
If Vigovski do not show a live account with results. What sell Vigovski ?

So according to the FTC Truth in Advertising law:

Advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers.
In addition, claims must be substantiated.

General Offers and Claims Products and Services
The Federal Trade Commission Act allows the FTC to act in the interest of all consumers to prevent deceptive and unfair acts or practices. In interpreting Section 5 of the Act, the Commission has determined that a representation, omission or practice is deceptive if it is likely to:

  1. mislead consumers and
  2. affect consumers' behavior or decisions about the product or service.

In addition, an act or practice is unfair if the injury it causes, or is likely to cause, is:

  1. substantial
  2. not outweighed by other benefits and
  3. not reasonably avoidable.

In addition, claims must be substantiated, especially when they concern health, safety, or performance. The type of evidence may depend on the product, the claims, and what experts believe necessary. If your ad specifies a certain level of support for a claim - "tests show X" - you must have at least that level of support.
Sellers are responsible for claims they make about their products and services. Third parties - such as advertising agencies or website designers and catalog marketers - also may be liable for making or disseminating deceptive representations if they participate in the preparation or distribution of the advertising, or know about the deceptive claims.

  1. Advertising agencies or website designers are responsible for reviewing the information used to substantiate ad claims. They may not simply rely on an advertiser's assurance that the claims are substantiated. In determining whether an ad agency should be held liable, the FTC looks at the extent of the agency's participation in the preparation of the challenged ad, and whether the agency knew or should have known that the ad included false or deceptive claims.
  2. To protect themselves, catalog marketers should ask for material to back up claims rather than repeat what the manufacturer says about the product. If the manufacturer doesn't come forward with proof or turns over proof that looks questionable, the catalog marketer should see a yellow "caution light" and proceed appropriately, especially when it comes to extravagant performance claims, health or weight loss promises, or earnings guarantees. In writing ad copy, catalogers should stick to claims that can be supported. Most important, catalog marketers should trust their instincts when a product sounds too good to be true.

Other points to consider:

  1. Disclaimers and disclosures must be clear and conspicuous. That is, consumers must be able to notice, read or hear, and understand the information. Still, a disclaimer or disclosure alone usually is not enough to remedy a false or deceptive claim.
  2. Demonstrations must show how the product will perform under normal use.
  3. Refunds must be made to dissatisfied consumers - if you promised to make them.

For what it counts, i have used one of his templates and early indicators times ago....then he used aftyerwards to build the dashboard with enhancements and addictions. Very powerful in my experience to help in trading (savvy MM always suggest anyway!!!).
Of course, cause Roman is also a friend, someone here will say "marketing cheerleaders team at work here"...so ...
...just my half cent. Make your own well thought decision, of course.

Thanks for your input cariddi74... but like Tim mentioned earlier, if a seller has no trade explorer to show results, then words and pics have no meaning. Many of his trades from his dashboard that show high rankings when he entered those trades, quickly reversed. Yet no one comments on those.

One poster yesterday posted that he had hit his TP target on a short. But according to my brokers MT4, it missed the target by 14 pips before reversing. Now I realize there can be a few pip differences from broker to broker, but 14 pips? I can't even find the post on the thread anymore. Deleted? Vigovski even deleted his own post that showed winning percentages according to his dashboard rankings.

I have to use common sense here before dishing out $249 for a tool that has not really shown much from my research of his trade examples. So the bottom line is, no trade explorer to back up your claims, no purchase.

The Martingale method was named after the French man Martingale. and another losing method can be named DB or dbx method. Enter the trade and never close it when it goes against you. So it will never be a loss. Give me money and I will show you how to do it lol

Ask him (Vigovsky) maybe..i trust him and i think i will soon/after a while buy his dashboard (already almost no time to trade due to my cold season daily job...but who knows...i already changed my mind about waiting summer before buying Eitan system so... who knows).....
