not on london open, a bit early..on my broker london is open at 10.00

hm.. ..looking on your screen Sam, it sims that your pair positions are made not on london open, but right on usa market open..(coz fundamental analize show 8-9 gtm right on usd news coming), and this thinks are confuze traders with different gmt world positions..
but if i remeber right, you say to make decision on one hour before london..?

Hello Sam/Paul, very impressive methodology you have working for you there. Thanks for sharing so much. Quick question. I get how you build your initial strong/weak currency profiling. But how do you handle entries/exits? Apparently you don't use the EA from what I gather from your previous posts? So in what aspect of your trading do you actually employ the EA? Thanks again for sharing.

I have been quite busy lately so it is still in limbo where I left it as shown in the post a few pages back.

When I get time I will finish it and I would like to put together a video on how to go about picking the pairs for a basket and then using the BT EA to trade the basket.

It seems a lot of traders have gone to trading single pairs and only use the BT EA for MM if at all.

Whatever it takes to make pips, we all can't have a magic 8 ball like Sam. LOL

Seller9 You've given forex community priceless tools to trade/manage basket. What most traders are lacking the knowledge how to cherry pick the pairs. We must first understand and learn the CORE pairs and then select cross pairs for our plan of action. Traders are adding / creating basket with pairs not worth trading. Major component to understand how the major pairs and commodity pairs move day in and day out.

Major factor neglected by traders when selecting pairs

 

  1. ​Trend
  2. Price manipulation
  3. Gaps
  4. Spread


Traders should stop force trading and select best pairs from the many cross pairs available. If you don't understand CORE you wasting your time.

I agree very much with your point, we all can't be supper good as SAM so we just have to make do with what we have and capture few consistent steady pips.

Thanks for the quick response and as always take your time, we more than have enough as it is to keep the steady pips rolling in.
