and im one of those EURUSD bears who has a set eye on EURUSD reaching parity... so how long is your long term?? because parity is around 2300 pips down... you ready to hold that for that much loss??

well you normally dont short at the bottom..... but rather wait for a pullback (pullbacks are when bulls come out to shout OMG OMG its going to reverse and 1.3 but the trend line keeps it below 1.26 and below 1.2510 etc etc...) sooo if the trend is bearish. short on pullbacks, as close to the trendline as possible....
thats how you enter trade with high probability and a beneficial R:R ratio.

Btw i like to Long GBP, but not Longing the GBP against the USD.... USD is still the big guy here... Meanwhile Long GBP agains the EURO sounds nice.... ie Short EURGBP.
Long GBPJPY is also nice....

Well after almost 3 years of being here I've noticed people who have high hopes about everything which goes extremely up or down. In case of a raging bull they dream price would fly up into the sky and vice versa.

Lol nope, im still short EURO, in the form of GBP,

but you're the one whos betting with me about long term expectations.... so you're one of them. atleast now the thing is going my direction and you are probably butt hurt.... dont worry, as soon as the US begins to hike rates when interest rates in US gets back above 3% while Europe is still in deflation and easing.... wont be too difficult for EURUSD to head for parity.

Both currencies are crap. The only question is which one is worse. But I have my own beliefs in euro. And I'm not butt hurt (yet)

Sounds excellent - where are these bulls so I can get in

Im thinking i should wait till 1.26 or until it starts to go down again after a bounce.....no point a long on a down trend...right

Don't. 1.26 is a long shot right now; I recommend reloading shorts at 1.2450~1.250.

Honestly, even if we get a bounce from an announcement from the ECB on Thursday saying that they will NOT do QE right now, it'll only delay the inevitable as they'd have to intervene sometime in 2015. People have a tendency to delay things to the bitter end when they see their worst dreams come true; kind of like a student procrastinating on a hard test and waiting until the last moment to study because he hoped it'll get canceled or something. So there's a good chance the ECB will delay this, causing a short term bounce in the Euro. But they'll have to pay the piper eventually, and when it does, the euro will fall even more.

The bounce from a pro-Euro sentiment from tomorrow's ECB meeting will only bring it back up to 1.250/1.2550 levels. I'd rather catch a bounce a little early instead of hanging it on hopes and dreams just yet.

Also, to any of the newcomers out of the 225 traders viewing this thread: Don't sell right now. Wait for a bounce back up to the 1.2400 levels or even above. At the very lest, wait for 1.2360 for intraday.
