well we got almost 100 pips drop on the pair with no news at all plus no signal on the chart indicates a drop, I don't know what triggered the drop

If you look at the daily chart, the bears have been more aggressively protecting the 20 ema.

The attached H4 chart has a 20 ema based off of the daily chart. Note the decisive moves triggered when bulls tried to move up through it...

+1, im glad you are the first who had the balls to say it... you are true i hide the most important part... i use specially that indicator because it is clear indicator...it's just a little Advanced version of the known RSI(MFI adds RSI + volume...)

Closed my EJ short at TP, still holding UJ short with a tight stop. if it rises to 120, will short that with more risk... Looking to long EU soon, but not a keeper.

could it just be the usd is getting stronger and the euro weaker? no signal. check out larger tf closes. and where the month closed. i could swear it closed below the previous months close and its low. its done that for 5 months straight, kinda a trend, some say

The euro zone PPI that came out at 5 AM EST today was -.4%, positive .3% was expected. This is one reason, that was recent news. Strong US construction spending was another. The 10 year yield has also been rising. The ADP employment report is tomorrow morning, the ecg meeting thursday. There are plenty of reasons it's going down.

the market tends to generally move in the most probable direction to that of which its economy is headed often before the news of such is realised, however not all the time, as like in life, market can be full of surprises. . Economies are cyclical in nature thus predictable. Id say euro is definitely not out the hole yet and could very well make 1.2

note: i am not a guru nor giving advice to make investment decisions from. I am a trader who does his own thing and my opinions are that of my own.

It's funny... The thread has been kinda dead the past couple of days. Interesting how traffic increases when levels like these are tested. It's also funny how personal folks can get regarding their sentiment. It's cool to be opinionated but there's no need make your argument centered around telling others they're 'wrong'. There's literally no such thing in trading. Everything is so subjective & In every sense of the word... it's all subjective.

Even in the face of overwhelmingly bearish conditions, as traders we just don't know where price will be trading any further than 24 hours. You can't prove it. You never will be able to prove anthers opinion is wrong here. Granted I've seen folks here at the factory & elsewhere, myself included, do some pretty stupid things & make some costly mistakes but until the move is made or the news is released there will always be another side to every trade or opinion.

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the banter. It keeps me honest, focused & sharpens my own opinions, entry's, & exits. But outside of a little all in good fun ball busting there's no need to belittle others.

I'm also a fan of the 20 ema. You didn't by chance take Chris Capre's Price Action course did you?... You're charts look very similar & he talks about the 20 ema quite a bit.

up 100+ on my adds. she has stalled some before pending news. trend is down, and she may drop at any moment now. out of my adds.. it dont make sense risking 110 pips for 35 pips more. r/r of risking 3 to make 1 isn't my thing.. will add some on bounce.. always afraid of pump and dump before news part II. a LL needed.

Yup. He's a pure price action kinda guy but he often refers to the 20 ema on all the higher TF's. It often gives great continuation entries & exits in trending conditions.

happens everywhere here, same thing with oil thread, lol in my almost 4 years here I have never seen the oil thread as it has been largely due to the media and well the volatility!
