There is obviously a misunderstanding. I will tell you what is price manipulation and I will try and make it as simple as possible. If I were to place a long trade of EUR 50 billion there is no guarantee I will be able to close the price when ever I fancy (I can in partials of course) due to lack of liquidity, even in EURUSD. If I buy EURUSD I need someone to buy it from me, right? Someone to sell it to. Now, if the price is 1.2850 and I see in the EBS that between 1.2880 - 1.2883 there is a concentrated amount of stops or huge sell orders, if these stops and entry orders were to trigger that will give me the liquidity of close my long trade. If the price is too far then I call my buddies to help me drive the price higher so we would all get a price of the liquidity. This is a classic case of price manipulation and why you are seeing sudden spikes and the reason why people don't want to use stops because they know they can be a target.

Does it make any sense?

If yes then you realize no one is bouncing it up and down whenever they fancy. They have limited power as well as they cannot pull a move of +200 pips (as an example). All these manipulations do not mean they cannot be capitalized on and trust me whoever is manipulating the price couldn't care less if you profit or lose. The currencies that susceptible to manipulations are CHF, AUD, JPY and NZD, all by central banks. Commodities or futures are a different story and I am not going to explain it now, just FX.

I asked him something similar as a confirmation to what I know but not sure how to find it now. He should know a great deal about this, there are a lot of manipulations in Asian currencies by central banks, which are then recycled in Euros, which is why EURUSD gained at the time. Draghi said smartly, "The Euro is rising because of troubled economies" lol something like that.

What if a person wants to open a $5 M account ....

what broker do you guys prefer ... or what should he do so that money wont be ate by the scammers....

All suggestions are appreciated

If you want an insurance for all your money if the broker goes down (not sure if saxo is one of them) there is private union that offers insurance for up to EUR 1 billion per investor. Deautsche bank have it but they are not accepting private trades anymore. Check on this and see what brokers are on the list.

There are 600 different types of live forex accounts. Call a bank or bucket-shot broker, they will be at your residence first thing tomorrow morning to show you all the options. If a person has 5M to open a forex account, surely has money to pay to KPMG or Pricewaterhouse Coopers and lawyers to get some advice. Forex Factory, especially this thread is not the right place.
