do you create a basket every day one hour prior London, or mainly before majоr news?

If you put the suffix in the BT settings you don't have to edit any files.

Mate why do you want to LIMIT yourself ? learn the CORE pairs stick to the plan.

No disrespect, you really should be thinking of how to read the charts and trade for yourself with all the tools and screen shorts in this thread!! Those looking for signal service always fail. Put in the time, set up the charts and the EA and do some demoing and you will be amazed how even you too are counting pips in hundreds, you just have to have confidence and go for it. The tools and the support are all here for you.

SMK can be a little cryptic at times. But maybe I can try to explain it out a little easier to understand. Do start by looking at the linked 7 pair chart from his previous post.

First 3 charts: EUR,GBP,CHF are strong vs. USD
4th chart: USD is strong vs. JPY. (conclusion: EUR,GBP,CHF should be very strong vs. JPY. This is how you construct crosses)

3 charts to the right: USD is strong vs. AUD,CAD,NZD (conclusion: EUR,GBP will be very strong vs. AUD,CAD,NZD. Again you can construct crosses based on the current strength.

Bottom line is those 7 core charts will construct any crosses you want to trade.

SMK, if I am off base here please correct me as this is just my take on how you decide of basket pairs.

Hi Guys can anyone help me with the set up. I am following the video instructions but when loading in the script my metatrader 4 only seems to read MQL4 file extensions and will not open the forceloadhistoricaldata.ex4.EX4 file. I have put it in the correct folders etc but the platform does not recognise it. Any help would be much appreciated. I have attached a screen shot showing the scripts that work and the one that doesnt. Sorry to be a pain.

Hi FXyao,

You got the idea how to treat a signal.

A signal is a signal but to setup BT EA intact with the signal require correct interpretation from the signal.
Otherwise you will be in deep shit and the signal may be useless.

To make interpretation on signal is not easy even it seems like 1,2,3 or a,b,c but you don't have the same information base like the signal provider keep in their pocket.
Your results will be differed from them.

The only way that you need to understand is mastering your BT EA setup and handling at your finger tips and create some entry technique from your best understandings, knowledge and skill. From there you will explore and upgrade your trading performance.
You only need to give yourself more time to achieve something that will amazed you later on.

Trying to set up the core pairs. Is it possible to provide some more information?

Following means two baskets or one basket with 4 pairs on one direction and 2 on reverse?
Also do you have any specific settings for the basket?

Core split 4/2

  1. usdjpy - nzdusd - audusd - gbpusd
  2. eurusd - usdcad
