Small timeframes take a lot of "3d thinking" in that you always need to have a general concept of what the higher ones are doing. H1 is so easy and stress free. And the more that happens, the less I worry about price moving slow or missing a trade or losing one.

I went long eurcad but, it looks to be petering out already.

Price has slow at 13944 because of some HTF resistance, if we can clear that, then trade looks good

Sure Biz.... by the way, lastingwell speaks very highly of you and has recommended that I study your charts, as well as hers (and yours too WDays).


Here's my chart. Maybe I think it's petering out due to having watched so many trades turn against me as soon as I get in. I need to rebuild my self-trust.

This is exactly what I have been observing as a setup comes up while moving into the LO - the drawdown is minimal (if you have a SL of say 30pips...?). It is exactly what Lastingwell has commented on... Nice MM by the way WDays...

Be-careful with the LTF as Wday had said it can become very confusing, I would suggest just mastering either the 4 hour or the 1 hour charts!!

Sorry to hear you have lost confidence in your trading but I believe a great way to get this back is Back-testing!!

I personally love Back-testing with a simulator this way you get to understand TDI and PA very well live

I know a very good Simulator and if you want to PM me as I don't want to advertise on the thread as Big E instructed us not to....

Took EUR/AUD today on the brake of FO candle. German news helped a little i guess Entry could be earlier, but wanted to wait for the confirmation of the movement. Exited manually at 40 pips, even my SL was locked at +20 pips. Had no discipline to wait until TP 50 pips would be hit. But it's ok for me, especially on monday.

It's still making higher highs, so I'll stick with it. It will take a very long time, and there's the HIN from Germany later today, so I will see how I go about it.

So you close a position once you see a a LL, on the next smaller time frame, I assume????

Hi Sknight1, looking at your H1 chart, I see H4 TDI is under the water (under 32 level so bear and bear), no long for me, and I am scalper too but no in this case. (my view only)

Crap, I didn't notice that the H4 was under the 32. I was focusing on the fact that it had stepped up over the trade signal line. Thank you, your feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm always open to constructive criticism.

I wouldn't call myself a scalper..... yet. I'm just trying to get to consistently profitable. I'll look to label my trading type later. lol
