guys pls be careful, im actually not confident bout shorting the GBP...
I still see GBP as the likely second economy to raise interest rates after US....

I think that the downside potential is stronger on GBP than EUR....

EURUSD is approaching key level, that will be much harder to break , GBPUSD still has plenty of room to go down...

One thing i know is that i been burned playing with gbp before.... Gbpusd especially is one heck of a weird pair....

Bank of England is still doing the Asset Purchase Facility (APF) since since January 2009.....


If the euro keeps going down... gbpusd can go easly to 1.500....

EURUSD simply continued it's journey, and will probably continue to do so until about 1.1800
Forex is a losers game.

Well, I will start looking at longer term longs once it pierces 23. Once it gets that low, it will likely go lower, but its going to have some painful swings.

Can anyone tell me what would the faith be for AUD/USD, I am a bit concern, the pair has gone down (trending) during the week BUT went up hard yesterday after the Chinese announcement and now it is down a bit, being dragged by the other pairs, Is this a reversal for AUD, should I be concern, and close my AUD short and switch to shorting the EUR or JPY or GBP?

Anyone please advise...

gbp may have a bounce to 588x.. its against trend and most logic,, so it will probably fail,,, i am not taking (atm) the setup at 562x/23, even though one is there, and stops could be tight. its against trend at the mid is 5808, most of the meat is the mid. after that. a trade falls to a 1/1 trade if u count the float profit as risked. at 2526 and spread... 5 risked pips may get 182 at mid or 225 at 5881..most of these trades fail, so dont get delusional . the r/r is about 1-36 for mid tp. or 1-45 at target.. a modest trade with a small % used, is how i approach this. at 559x the same trade can be considered, there the reward is amplified to 43X or 58x.. at a modest 1/4% risk that's 9 to 14%.. atm its at 5651, so its too far away from 5626 ish

Agreed but if you care to look at the days before the fall TODAY. In fact last week and the week before well there was a rise. To be fair based on the candle stick pattern 2 weeks before doesn't count as a rise but the week before this week is a rising candle and this week is also considered to be rising in fact it was about to cross the 1.26 mark but now in the space of a few hours it has fallen below the 1.24 mark.

In conclusion it took about 2 weeks for it to rise from below 1.24 around 1.238 region to almost reach 1.26 but in a few hours for it all to come crashing down.

On the monthly chart it shows a downward trend but not on the weekly chart. There was a slight rise the last 2 weeks.

That's why you need to look at the smaller time frames. This is pretty interesting. The fall of the euro took at least 30 mins on the 30 min chart there are huge candles on the 30 min chart for it to fall from the upper 1.25 region down to the lower 1.24 regions. It took at least 2 weeks for it to rise up from below 1.24 fyi.

Most ppl don't really trade the monthly and even then nobody is immune to such huge price movements which fyi are pretty common if you care to read up on chaos theory.

it's insane it's not even retracing but heading downwards even at the start of the weekend. I guess i need to put in some shorts.
