These kind of thread are quite funny actually, obviously the people commenting here are doing so because they have positions in that direction, ofcourse they will defend their decision until the end even if theyre wrong.

Yes, many traders lose objectivity once they are emotionally attached to a trade...

One way I avoid that is trading shorter term. The direction changes so often, I don't have a chance to get attached...

I also find that not allowing my trades to go into heavy drawdown, also helps. I close the trade or get stopped out before my emotions kick in

At least it shows some boundaries for some really short, short term buys. I'd buy at 118ish if it bounces, and see if it'll make another run at 118.29...

Man don't you guys read or watch news? US is hit by some pretty bad weather and that will slow USD down for days if not weeks. On long term I totally agree USD will rock.
