My guess is we bounce off this trendline and go up from here!

IMO best to wait for a nice reversal pattern that tally with S&R and get back in on the ride

It reminds me when everybody was expecting 1,20 on the euro or above 1,40 earlier this year. It never happened.

You shouldn't trade this numbers, Just trade the price as it comes

For now the daily UJ/EJ looks like retracement is on its way.

Bounce at 117.81 Will expect bears to push back around 118ish area...

Yup and it seems like it held at 117.80... for now. Now i need i higher hourly to keep me bullish, but it do look like i need to dump my longs as high as possible and get into shorts unless we are looking at min 118.30 and higher in a couple of hours..

Yes, expecting and getting two different things. Had it not been for major banks are targeting 120 and it's a major target level i would not have cared. Regarding EURUSD most of those looking for the 1.2000 area was looking left at old levels.. After an insane move down i thought that banks were going for round numbers a.k.a shooting from the hip and targeted 1.2500, and that gave us a good bounce. My guess is the same with 120.

Now we are getting a higher low on 15M.. above 118.30 is needed if it is good for something

Usd should slow down a bit due to bad weather in US. But i belive the dollar is about to show its strenght soon against most currencies. Especially against jpy and ruble.

Virtually every nation is trying to weaken their currency to benefit their economy. This would include Japan. Maybe you can explain why all of a sudden they'd want to strengthen their currency?

Not that I disagree with a big short move. They always happen eventually. Big buyers become sellers when they take profits, and more sellers jump in and perpetuate the short move.

Edit: But it always moves in cycles. Not too long ago USDJPY was ranging for about 6 months, up and down, up and down, etc...

First step is to break above 118.07, then 118.13...we do this and we have broken the down trend from overnight's move!

I was thinking just like you but what made me change my mind was 1: it's not a jpy thing it's more about usd gaining strenght globally. 2: Japan seems to be afraid of making any move that will hurt their stock market. But they will have to sooner or later to save their currency.
