when a price reaches a level where the buyers/demand outweighs the supply it becomes a support. when price reached a price where the sellers are more than the buyers then it becomes resistance

Did you read the thread title and just decide to post a definition of support and resistance without reading anything else thinking in over 100 pages we've not worked it out?

hi
i have been reading from the beginning and the PDF that was provided. I think it is time for me to start practicing on charts and test iit.
Can someone please help me to start the right way to do this?
can i use abonacci system on any trading platform? Or should i use any particular one? I would appreciate any input.
I hope i am not being annoying with my first grade questions.

Sorry trader 2745, missed your earlier post (although I have to say sarcasm is not going to motivate many poeple to help). One of the reasons folk may not have been quick to help is that everything is laid out in the thread. The pdf only covers each templates rules, but wider discussion was had a ot more when Bobi opened the thread. As with all threads there is alot of discussion early on which tends to cover 95% of situations and scenarios, and the rest is then generally trade calls and pointless arguing (although there has been none of the latter here which is great).

I am happy to try and answer any question that is not addressed in the first 20 pages (or so of the thread) - but there is an understandable frustration when people dive into a thread 2 years after it starts with questions and points that have been covered many times already; if someone can't be bothered to read at tleast 20 pages and apply their brain, then any help I give will be wasted anyway. I'm not saying this is what your doing - but your going to need to be specific with what you are asking. Folk are very busy and can't just reply ad nausiam to generic questions like 'where do I start?' The reply will always be the same 'read the thread'.

To answer your question - you can use this system on any platform, but the indicator file will only work on mt4. I know one trader early on who plotted the levels when using another platform (see page 14).

For Gold I use baseline 1196.34, phase 2200 and it works fine, try it. This is not from Bobi.

I know the price has come from above the 0 + 59 area and has gone 42 pips below 76.4 BUT I can't figure the TP - to me it
is confusing. Is it the 50% area? Is it 50% + 220? To me the instructions from Aebab are confusing on this one.

I take it as the 50% level. I'm not at my platform today, but if I remember correctly I think the distance from entry (42 pips below 76.4%) to 50% is 220 pips. If it's not then I don't know off hand!!

No -- We were not given a baseline for this currency pair for 2014. We only have E/U, A/U, and G/U for 2014.

Remember that the 103 is not as accurate as the 1130 template and the 103 trade was in contradiction with the 1130 signal.
Now that is not to say it may not retrace and give you the 40 pips BUT it is destined to come down as per the 1130 guidelines.
Anyway that is how I see it. Comments welcome.

Hi Steve,
Good to see all of you still here
It's been so long I haven't got any chance to test abonacci in smaller time frame, the last time it hits with 1130 on EU.
By the way, Do you by any chance get a hold of Bobi ? How bout next year template ? Is he still available ?

Hu HanHanid - how are you doing? I've not heard from Bobi since the last time he posted. I do recall last year he was quiet for a long time and then posted again around 2 Jan for a day or two to post baselines. Whether he'll do the same again this year I don't know. Take care. Steve

I am quite fine too, Thanks Steve. Right now I am trying to have intraday trade, but looking at the template so far, it is quite accurate on longer basis, but not on shorter one. What do you think ? Are you still trading intraday ?

I do and its quite accurate but i dont follow the rules i use it in a different way.
i trade in the trend, breakout, and momentum. Its been good to me
