I'm done with it, i had Bloomie and reuters back then. I find it overrated. Charts are the same on any plateforms. Having a bloomberg terminal won't make you a better trader for sure.

GBPUSD going up because of GBP strength after the employment claims data from UK...
me personally im skeptical, my focus on GBP lies on EUR...
im interested to see if EURO's low inflation is causing a drag on UK's into low inflation.. if this is the case, UK may join europe into easing soon....

When cable reached over 1.7, people talking about rate increase and expect 1.73 for cable, but it never happened

I'm watching for a stop run around 1.5940, with only a 32 pip range of The Asian session its perfectly fitting that the banksters run the lows and then the highs before moving the price down.

Thats because market was looking at the wrong indicators to have a hint at when and how the BOE is going to increase the rates....
at 1.73.. let me guess unemployment rates in Uk are still what like high 7% or 8%
im not so sure....

but one thing for sure is BOE has been hinting for quite some time that they are looking at both Unemployment rate consistently dropipng possibly below 6 to begin "consideration" of a rate hike.... we are now at around 6% but we still dont see rate hikes... because the other indicator the BOE is looking at is the Inflation.... Low inflation is not a good sign to raise hike...

On the other hand the US FED has clearly shown they dont really care about the low inflation, probably because their inflation is still higher than the european counterparts, but FED is clearly poised to raise interest rates if unemployment rates in US keep drifting towards that magical 5.5% number they have been looking for.

So my suggestion is trade what you see in the charts, but also incorporate the fundamentals, if tech and fundamentals are pointing at different direction, avoid trading it....
Soooo how do you define fundamentals, well look at the Central Bank Policies....
very often when you see diverging Central bank policies like FED vs BOJ, where US is tightening and Japan is easing, you get beautiful up trend on USDJPY.....

now lets wait and see.... would love to see FED vs ECB, where US is tightening and Europe is easing... you'll get a beautiful downtrend... possibly EURUSD back to parity...

Now knowing the US is gona tighten... one thing i still need to know is the BOE... are they tightening or are they easing.... right now BOE is neutral.... so neutral uk and a bullish US still pushes GBPUSD... just not pushing GBPUSD down as fast as say US tightening and UK easing...

Faded that one -- this could be the flush before bulls take off -- a scalp is in and taking it from here, looking to add on if bull momentum strong. What I see on the daily chart is a lower low trend reversal setup with two bull days trending marginally higher from the bottom. Imho, this is about the level for the bulls to take off -- if they will, that is -- for follow through to the moving average on the daily chart. Of course, lots of sideways chop is also possible at a level like this, including a breakout to new lows altogher as well, as you said. Anything is possible here.
