trade stopped out at BE ... so far one trade and no loss today{image}
Have you consider just closing out an order when the sentiment changes, and not just when the trend changes?
It seems as if you could pocket some pips when that happens and just re-enter the trade when the signals
all confirm again.
Wouldn't that be better than getting into profit and giving it all back?
Just my thoughts. Not trying to tell you how to trade by any means.
Yesterday I posted a loss of 20 pips and since it is first loss in a long time, I go back and make analysis of what I missed when I place order and why it failed. What I failed to notice is that at the time of the Symphonie Signal the price aktion fail to break the asian range and that was a warning sign that price aktion was going to reverse as the support was to many strong and would not allow price aktion to break the 1.28 level in EURUSD. Because there was such a drop the day before I assume that it was a continuation of the downward trend....
I've been working my way through the thread (almost to the end now), and I have noticed many
people jump in and trade every signal blindly, without any apparent consideration given to support
and resistance, etc.
You have pointed out many, many times that Symphonie only gives us an indication as to what may be coming.
Of course, it is impossible to ever know for sure where the price will go with 100 percent assurity, but
the indicators are ultimately based on what sentiment (and therefor price) has done in the past.
Therefor, this fact cannot and shouldnot be ignored entirely.
Your first trade failed and the matrix, even though you did get a signal to go short, was giving us
a glimpse that the downtrend may be ending. After a long run of 4 rows of red bars, things began to
break up. To me, that would be a warning signal that a change may be in the air, and to begin to watch
for a Buy signal instead. Waiting for that Buy signal would have eliminated that failed entry.
Just my thoughts.

That is the reason for the huge post#1 at the very beginning of this thread. As to your screenshot, I would have not made a sell from that sell signal for one simple reason, the moment of the signal did not break the asian range therefore it shows that the support in the asian range was very strong. However, if you look the moment of the ''buy'' signal the candle closed out of the range with the Symphone signal. That is the point I would have made a buy and reaped the benefits of that entry.
Once you are in a situation there the price action is ranging, that is the moment you look at the range and the timing. Then look for a Symphonie signal where the candle breaks and closes outside of the ranging market. At that point you know what is the real signal to take. Symphonie is as much an art as it is a science and it takes some time to get use to how it works and the whole purpose of the Symphonie Matrix is to help one simplify market actions and be ready to take advantage of signals as they play out.
I have said many time Symphonie is not a perfect system and I ask people to trade demo dollars to develop a successful path before trying it with real money. Demo dollars cost you nothing but learning time and it will prove you out at the end. Once you are successful with demo account for a good period of time it will feel just the same when you are trading for real because one will have a better understanding of what is happening and what one should do.

As one who has read the entire thread, I can assure you all of your questions
have been answered previously. You have to take the time to do the homework.
One thing you might do to speed up the process, and eliminate the "fluff" would
be to do a search for only Evaluator's posts. That will cut down on a lot of the
relatively unnecessary stuff.
