is there anybody willing to help? i longed at quite a high price . 1.139 as i thought the price would surge higher due to the news, but it crashed like bonkers.. i would like to know if its gonna continue to crash next week? please help!
i could begin by telling u all sorts of nice and not so nice things, but this i'm definitely telling u this...if u want to give your money away than u should continue to trade without a method and strategy and if trading the news is your strategy than u should have closed your trade when the news didn't produce your anticipated result.
to answer your question if the pair is going to continue to crash ? .. my answer is... i don't know, maybe someone else here will know better.
But i can tell u this,
- u have the weekly trend in your favour, meaning that price may reverse up from about where it is now or drop another 100 pips or more before it could reverse.
- the 4hr chart pattern will give an indication if it's going to rise or drop.
- unfortunately for your long, the Daily Chart says i may drop to 1.1190 [that's 200 pips from your entry] before i will rise...so i suggest to u, watch that level for a possible reversal. that Daily bar that formed is very bearish.
- in conclusion: these are the probable reversal levels according to my charts; 1.1260/05 [where price is now]...1.1190 & 1.1012
Lastly, please lower your trade size because from your post it is obvious that u are trading way above your comfort zone.

i'm really trying to read some reversal into this pair simply because i think i know where u are at this moment of your USDCAD long trade, i wish it would reverse to ease your pain even though it would mean that my other long trades in the AUDUSD, NZDUSD, EURUSD & Gold [see my last journal post] put me in negative territory...[it would not matter to me because i know i can trade myself out of that hole should my wish for u come true.]
see the 4hr chart below...according my reading of the PA patterns, should the next 4hr bar close green or engulfing then price may reverse to the upside, how far will it travel ?...i don't know, but the immediate resistances overhead are the opening of today till a little above 1.1300
