DislikedHey guys, sorry for the dumb question but im new here..... I have a long EURAUD from last friday and I just noticed today my trade in TP closed early before market opens??? Is this normal??? Also my TP was 1.42720 which I placed last Friday but it seems it closed at 1.43207 which means it gave me extra?? Seems the broker gave me extra $$$ lol which I am not complaining..... My entry was 1.42510 at 0.6 lot size..... Not sure if this is related to the gap this morning as Bloomberg shows current price is at 1.4308 for EURAUD and 0.8739 for AUDUSD........Ignored
DislikedSome very interesting posts, and different views... Currently, AUDUSD is in a very volatile trend up, which could be viewed as a bear flag channel. What tells me that primarily, the big money is simply ranging the price, is that if you look over the past 5 weeks, and pick out the most decisive moves, you'll see 4 altogether, a strong move up, followed by a strong move down, which occurred twice (shown by arrows on attached chart). Long term view - bear flag channel up patterns typically break out downward, but obviously no guarantee. Short to mid-term view - we could bounce up and down in this channel all the way up to 90+ very easily.Having said all of this, I would only trade this pair when it hits the extreme of the outer channel edge (using horizontal S/R levels as confirmation), buy from the bottom, or sell from the top. In my humble opinion, the short term "trend" up is too volatile to buy and holdIgnored

DislikedAlso Balmain Boy how come my profit closed early even tho market hasnt opened yet? I just want to understand how it works. Is it because on Friday markets generally close 1hr earlier? So does that mean on Monday when markets open they open 1hr early or no? Or do trades close early because of gap and I had a TP set in place. Thanks once again.Ignored
Disliked{quote} indeed. I believe the purpose of this thread is to post views/analysis of the AUDUSD pair. If we were to all simply "wait for it" then nobody would be posting anything? Or am I missing something?Ignored
