The story goes like oil is super cheap because the Texans just figured out that throwing steam down their old wells will sponge out the a shit load more oil out of the walls of the old holes... So the Japanese think that the price of oil and food, etc, is cheap to buy right now so that a cheap yen will be easier to export their crap and make no difference in price to keep buying crap......

cheap oil is an oxymoron and I doubt that will be long lived, interesting to watch this market crumble back down 100 mark again

I was just pointing out that there is ALSO slight GBP strength in the GBP/JPY equation. No need for the rudeness - I don't mock others.

I have been complaining about not having days liek this......and BOOM there it goes without me. In fact got stopped out on a silly short. Oh well, there will be others like it soon enough. Happy pips to the longs who were in on the move.

108.15 at the start of the week to 112.45 today. I was looking for 110 by the end of the year, but looks like the exuberant bulls may see their 115 level.
I do find it oddly convenient that the FOMC released a very hawkish message versus their historical dovish language right before Japan decides to increase their QE.

Well the next resistence level coming up is 113.0x, a level from Dec of 2007. There is not much support at this point except the level before the announcement which is 109.3X. Can't believe this SOB ran up 2K in a day!

Congrats to all who went in for the ride!

Yup it's getting harder and harder to trade everyday. When you think everyday is going to be just the same, BOOM there is a bomb and all your stops go out of the window. And then when you get all psyched thinking the volatility is finally coming back to the market, it goes all quiet and dead again and meanwhile you are all out of pips and you can't make it back anymore in the dead market. And you never know when the next bomb is going to hit and whether you are going to be on the right side.

Wow, what a crazy run Absolutely no resistance to be found implies some aggressive profit taking can be expected in the near future. But I'm not shorting this whatsoever, it's BUY BUY BUY until 120. The BoJ has made it clear now it doesn't give two shits about its citizens, only its stock traders. This could very well be the beginning of the end for the Japanese, and possibly Asian, economy.

Gidday Yen masters

All go in the YEN camp

Reading some forums

they talking 113.75 then the going gets tough

My longs in the 111 to 112 opened up to 113+

Pending longs lower,one short

Took early pips on the bigger trades

left smaller ones running.

Weary off a retrace which in YEN style

can happen any time.

thats why you need to know fundamentals, and ESPECIALLY when are news releases, like FOMC statements and BoJ statements.... this is what drives the market..
