yeah it is very possible, but all we have on H4 is a spike, the indicators are not very clear + big fat support has broken...i prefer to let this thing some time to stabilize...next week is ECB report...

Well well,

Breakout zone exactly 1.2600/05 for upside to test that crappy 20/30 and downside around 80/85.

This hovering messes time too much.

+1...we all can build shorts... ofc we can but only if you invest a low amount of money on it...if it occur you will spend time with negative positions then it's boring...

DID any body experienced a delay in chart and pricing on mt5 around 1.255 ?

I was using mt5 iPhone app from swissquotes broker and the chart was delayed by 3 to 4 minutes from life prices on forex factory!!
it was showing around 15 pips difference..

Range playing at 75-90/95. Outside the range is direct breakoutzone so far.

Looks like this range is pretty unliquid as well.

Some major move is yet to come today i dare to expect.

today's data is a bit tricky one especially when last data was revised from 4.1 to 4.6%. estimate is for 3.5% which is worse than previous. slightest of disappointment in this and kiwi, aussie rally. gbp, euro may rally but not that much.

i think so as well. GDP can be a big event. I think 1.2520 came in too early or may be bcoz I was not short before the announcement it came in too early. I don't regret missing the bus as it was a massive risk event.

exactly i prefer to open a position when a move up is forming then i close in green idc how many pips and do nothing until a move down start...1 trade per move...i don't really try to catch the min or the max, this way i won't be trapped easily... notice i only made 2 trades: buy 1.2650 close 1.2690 october 24th and sell yesterday 1.2765 close 1.2635... now will wait maybe a fews days or even more, just to be sure it's a down trend who's preparing...for now it doesn't look like a trend...it looks like nothing...i spend more time to Watch charts than trading itself

Since when did forex market become a crazy game, and i thought its more about discipline and risk management.. Heck if i treated it like a crazy gambling game. I'd probably be jailed for losing my employer's money
Hint: i work for an investment bank in a global market fx trading desk. Heck banks nowadays are so scared of high risk in proprietary trading, we're left with flow businesses mostly...

Btw to answer ur question on which market starts first ,
The world starts the tradig day with asia and ends the day at close of new york.... Just ak urself whic market starts forst after weeked....

Yea haha, at some point in our trading life, intuition takes over and things'll be way smoother cuz you know prices moves up 30 odd pip for no reason, you know its some movement of funds by banks or the bigger guys

I know all too well, just last week, we placed a flow order for one of our multinational clients 50million usd long against the euro...

Was hesitant at first that itll move the market 20-30 odd pips but cuz we filled te order in asia... 50 pip drop only to hit a hard support, plus bad data from us, client held on to the position.... But managed to het out in profit just today....

I will try another short-term long at 25 with a very tight stop if price gets there soon. Otherwise I will wait for another short entry and play the range moves. The most difficult part of trading for me is being patient, yet persistent at the same time.

Waiting US news. Looks like most if not all meaningful orders inside this range 80-95 are triggered.

So, emphasis on outside impact from fixed income, stocks and futures markets on NEWS release.
