Looking 90 to short, this seems like a nice shake-up. Downside breakout zone is 70/75.

Target is around 1.2520.

you're obviously missing the point of a channel... tell me where are the 2 low points. and please do not use today's Low as the 2nd reference for your upward sloping channel, because today's candle isnt even closed yet.... especially when theres a GDP data that might just gie USD another boost.
besides weekly chart elliott wave suggests 1.2510 to atleast be retested to see if lows are higher low or lower low.
and 1.2280 (ie monthly chart SMA200) has been a crucial moving average line that has given EURUSD reasons to reverse when reached....

not trying to criticise you on your charting technique but you cant use the current daily candle as your 2nd reference as the candle isnt closed yet.

Not only that.... you also need the NEXT candle to be a closed as a bullish candle for you to confirm that this is the channel to trade....
right now you're charting this channel is way too premature.

Hourly close below 87/90 and then spike up to test 1.26 is possible and even likely but should get nice rejection.

There is absolutely no point to go back to 1.2620/30.

maybe now its not low for draghi.. if he dont want cheap euro why he cut rate at the first place.. opposite with FED if they dont want strong USD why they tapper at the first place..

but im just guessing, i dont know the truth but i know what i see..

180 Pips total profit on shorting EURUSD, thank you Yellen!

but ill be watching out....
if New York Comes in with GDP beating estimates, New York might drive this baby down to 1.25

Price action wise, nothing looks bullish except m5.... but its about to fail... as higher time frames continue their move.

the sad thing is that you realise that you lost approx. 30 pips on the down.... because the CBA (Crystal Ball Anal sys) didnt work... if we only you... huh?


seriously too much risk right now to get more out of the shorts or long unless your CBAs get the correct US figures before they are out

if that happens and indeed the numbers are solid good and not "mixed"... we are talking of a clear path until "middle" 1.24s and it might have more bearish effect than the FEDs one (which was more or less expected)

hey chan..... there is always the third option...... short or long or wait.....

shorting daily overbought conditions in a downtrend or buying daily oversold conditions in an uptrend seems to work the best for me..... that's easy..... waiting for that is hard..... second only to not exiting to fast.....

the eur is in a downtrend.... 10 days ago it was overbought..... there is still plenty room left to fall......

but at this point, waiting for overbought conditions on the 60 and 240 charts seem to work the best for me...... that's easy..... waiting for that is hard ..... second only to exiting too fast......

when i'm confused, the third option seems to work best for me......h
