No two expert advisor at the same time, but only one. I would use only one expert advisor, but not EA on this topic. I would like to try a completely different EA. Do you understand me? Sorry for bad English :-)

Ok, I create a chart using the basket creator. Can I this basket graph using a different expert advisor than BT_14_v25_670et? Can I use THV EA or any EA? for trading basket graphs? Thank you.

The different EA would have no link with the basket creator pairs. You could still create an offline chart with the creator and use the EA, but it would not know which pairs you want to trade. I am not 100% sure if it will work with this basket creator, but in the past I have used different EA's on offline charts with no problems.

On further review I figured out what the problem was. You were correct. I had reloaded the EA with saved settings and adjusted the TP line with out hitting the start live trading button. Thanks for the reply, still working out the kinks. Such a powerful tool but a little confusing to get everything right at first. But I will get it.

HI !!

EA you use must be suitable for off-line graphics. In a chart, metatrader allows you to enter a single EA. If you add a second EA, the first is removed.

Hey x58, I've noticed in the past that you have thrown your weight around telling people to perfect their English. Knock it off. People should be able to ask questions to the best of their ability without being chastised for their less than perfect English. You are not the language enforcer here. If you can't decipher what someone is saying, let someone else answer their question, nicely. Don't intimidate people or ruin their day just because they're not perfect, like you think you are. I know you are busy guy, but I not sure what I do wrong in EA settings
BE is 27pips
TP is 35 pips
it means BE should be 112pips below the TP, but EA set it much lower (look at the entry arrow, BE and TP)

Could you advise please?

Where do you come up with 112 pips?

If you set BE to 27 pips that means a BE line will be set on the chart (at the BE point) when the price goes 27 pips into profit (not until), and that is where it will stay.

The TP and SL lines have nothing to do with the BE, they are all independent of each other.

Hi Micello,

not to show any disrespect but are you sure you know the difference between BE, TP and SL line levels on a chart? I hope you do as it seems you don't know how they are supposed to behave on your chart. You can always ask if not sure.

Some have been asking so here is a screen shot of where I am at presently with the new Basket Writer EA, I have not a lot of free time lately so the going has been slow.

Any suggestions on what to add, (Don't get carried away), Too much information only causes grid lock more confusion.

If you don't see something you may have mentioned already, restate it in case I missed it and I will give it my consideration.

This EA creates basket offline charts just like the previous Basket Writer to be used with the BT EA.

I am a silent reader of this great thread, mainly because of my bad english, but when I saw the screenshot of the new EA , I got to say it is amazing!
And it will be a great helper in the creation of baskets for sure!

Looks great. Like the button option to open the individual pair chart. Maybe its just my advancing age, but the heat map with so many colors, is tough on the eyes and a bit confusing. Other than that it look awesome.

EDIT: If I had as suggestion it would be heat map with less colors. Keep it simple right? Say blue and green for strength, Orange and Red for weakness or something like that. 4 shades of blue for lower strength switching to green shades higher up and vice versa for weakness. That way a quick glance your eye can decipher easier than decoding 12 different colors. Just a thought, I will be happy with whatever you spit out. Your work is top notch.

Hi Seller,

I agree with thorn, I will suggest that part of the indi with all colours be removed completely. The other parts of the Indi gives us enough information to work with.

As always, it is just my own view on the EA. Looking good indeed.

I know BE & TP are independent

what I mean:
TP 35x14pairs = 490
BE 27x14 = 378 (it should be 112 pips below TP) but this is not the piont

the point is - it looks like BE is not multiple of pairs number
I miss something in settings?

according to suggestions, not about basket writer, but EA

BE trailing (with steps) - it can protect profit you already have
(standard BE do not protect profit if they are additional trades)
