What EA or range indicator are you using for range bars Bizzzle? Never had much success getting them to work on MT4

This is the one I am using.

Put it in experts folder then open a 1 mins chart scroll back a week or so, for the data then add EA to chart with setting to how many pips mine is 10 pips, click file offline charts and click on the 3 mins chart with the same pair the EA is running on...

Thanks very much for the advice . I have improved my trading recently , but whether that is due to better market conditions or not ,it's a little too soon to say .
I only trade at .01 but If I can maintain the improvement over a reasonable period , I will try .02 -- then I will certainly follow your advice , and hope to eventually trade 'proper money ' .
Only made +27 today , a small step in the right direction .

I try to follow Big E's method , but I do think that he had an exceptional talent as a trader that I maybe will never be able to match .So when I see how you plan your trades beforehand , so that you are waiting for the market to come to you , as against just watching the TDI and then having to make snap judgements ( as Big E was so brilliant at doing , and I am not ) , I see a whole different ball game . SO I hope you will keep advising and helping us .Best Regards.

Heres EJ trade today, at the open of the entry candle, I was busy with work, and in a minute, the trade already gone 13 pips, but momentum at LO, so took the entry anway, closed for +40

I rather follow it, but on H1 EMA 200 and on Daily EMA 10, so I guess I need to modify my trading plan for momentum trading when PA hits these dynamic resistance or support

Hi Rob,
You are welcome. I fully agree with you that Big E is an exceptional trader here in FF. He has many years of experience and tested the 5-Method and traded his method to suit his personlal trading style and his lifestyle. Every trader is different. Trading can be a very passionate thing as I read the posts here in FF. Lots of different views of the market, different beliefs about the market, etc.
I am just sharing what I learned and what I do. My approach may not work for some people. I stick to my approach and always make a trade plan for those pairs I trade.
Traded the GBPUSD on D chart today as planned, sold when Day Open and set my Capital Protection at 50pips move and CaveManager EA work as usual for me today. No regrets and I am happy with that trade.
Had a long busy day today and now is 4pm+ in New York and time for my cuppa as usual.

Good trade TSS.
You held on to your belief in the 10EMA used in all timeframes and exited your trade when price reacted at the H1 200EMA equivalent to 10EMA on Day.
Despite missing the beakout trend, you traded according to your beliefs and trade plan.
That is discipline to follow your own system. Very important!

It is always the right decision when you followed your own trading rules for entry and exit.
Same 5-Method, but it's your own trading system not anyone else'.

I would like to be able to look at a chart and think OK if it does this I will do that or if it does that I do this , and be prepared for confirmation by PA and TDI.
So I just try to be sure to learn a little more each day.
I was a bit unlucky today, went short GA with 50 TP ,missed by 2 pips and then stopped out at BE --Oh well , it happens .
And I was kept out of a good trade by this 'off exchange ' message -- was not pleased by that .
