Probably nothing more than a Stop Hunt on shorts. This is how the market works. It is all about the Robber Banks/MMs 1) suckering in traders on the right side and then stopping them out, or 2) suckering in wrong side traders and gleefully taking the right side of their orders.

We have a setup. We use it with or without a SL, at the discretion of the trader. If a SL is used, then either: 1) tight, and reverse if hit, or 2) very wide, wide enough to withstand the price manipulations of the Robber Banks. Any decision here is a gamble.

The market is not a predictable animal, not even when very specific conditions are met. This is why EAs don't work. The MMs do what they do based on what everyone else does. In this case, the Robber Banks have now taken the price back above a half number (PVSRA = bears) at the conclusion of a move up following a heavy shorting move earlier. This has the stink of a Stop Hunt by the thieving MMs of those earlier shorters. And if this is the case, a short trade is the right side trade and this pair is going to go much further down than it did today,.....after the Robber Banks are done with their thieving to build up their own short positions.

i will only reply to this post only because it starts with "others can speak for themselves...", is not my intention to go against our more then admired master TAH.
but i would just like to say a few words, and they mean nothing more than my words.
what i see on week chart (which is a high tf to see anything ) is that price rose with volume decreasing. which means bearish.
then the result was that huge fall to taste bellow 1.25.
the other thing i can see (i think i can see) is the spiking volume on the last few bars. Profit taking, Closing Shorts, Long Bilding... take your pick, who knows?
what we know is that bulls like to buy on down candles, and some of the lastest one's have quite high volume, they've been a hell of an effort to fall (long building).
in fact they even seem to have made a two candle reversal patern. (bull sign?)
What worries me now is the hugh climatic volume of last week. on my chart is the higgest of the most, but it made also a bar with a very long wick.
if that volume was bulls, why didn't this week haven't yet continued up? in fact, at this point is a down candle. is this means that might have been quite some selling last week?
and TAH i can't consider your channel as a chanel...for me it has no base.
Weekly chart... weekly chart...price is far from dragon. dragon is facing down. price might go up, down or side ways!
down move + high volume stoping the fall might be retrace of a continuing move, stalling market (side way), profit taking half way, true reverse... who knows?
but is more closer to make new lower and hit 1.22 than make an L-H-HL-HH on this timeframe!

just a thought...

looks like Diamond, but i note high volume occurring in up bars but the highest volume bar was an down bar with large shadow. than its possible than lowest volume bar to be consider a no demand (hope not polar bear in hawai...), followed with another high volume "almost star shuting"... so in this TF i would wait for the bail up or down.

I agree, and that is what I have been saying right along. We cannot know how the price will move. What we can do is await proper Classic setups and take them. Just be cautious/conservative about expectations until some evidence shows up designating a trend, one way or the other.

i also think that blue bars of high volume on the midlle of LS have a lot of short building by MM's.
after that they pushed the price up with decreasing volume which might mean no buying interest, (no interest on higher prices by MM's.
i'm just curious if the US will start pump n dump loading their shorts and leave the next large move for LO!
time will tell... in this pair i would be carefull, but i'm not trading this pair.

USDCAD Long Trade Open:

M5 Classic setup, post-LS.

This is based in part on MMs having driven the price below whole number - imho as conclusion of a Stop Hunt of longs (and probably the third one in the last seven trading days!) - that was followed by a strong recovery & bounce up. It is also based on my interpretation of the Month chart; that the market is very bullish here.

No TP or SL at this time, as this pair is very volatile. I want to watch, wait and see what the MMs do with the price. The extreme price manipulation of this pair, over more than a week now, could be the Robber Banks/MMs building long for a substantial move up.

EURGBP M5 Classic in a direction of the main trend ( on the bigger time frames). I closed it manually , didn't have a TP.

Please do not post any more of your trades without our Trade Levels indicator showing the results. This makes the last six out of seven such posts where Sonicers cannot see the Trade Levels PL label for the closed trade.

Please, edit your current post to show the closed trade PL label.

hi I have question about RWH RWL RDH RDL how it works these lines move from session to session or what I read Indicator-GSG-for-Lazy-Sonicers.pdf but not understand exactly and what the purpose please can somebody explain and thank you

Maybe you should try reading this part from the pdf. over and over again, thinking upon it while you read, until you get it, because I do not think it can be explained any more clearly than it has been:

A. Two conditions determine where range lines appear....
1. Condition #1 - the Day/Week range has not exceeded the computed average range.
* The RDH/RWH line is the computed average range distance above the session Low.
* The RDL/RWL line is the computed average range distance below the session high.
* The lines will move as new highs/lows are achieved during the session.
* This display shows how far price can move in either direction before exceeding the computed average range.
2. Condition #2 - the Day/Week range has exceeded the computed average range.
* If price swings during the day/week TF cause the difference between the high and the low to equal the computed range, the range lines lock into place.
* This display will clearly show any subsequent breakout of the range.
B. The purpose of the range lines is to provide a perspective on how far PA might move during the trading day or week. This can be of some guidance in selecting where to exit a trade. A swing trader might pay more attention to the RWH/RWL lines, and hold a trade into oncoming days. However, a day trader looking for quick profits and limited exposure to market price swings might pay more attention to the RDH/RDL lines.

GBPUSD Long Trade Open:

M5 Classic, pre-LS. This is based a nice PA wave form and Dragon that is angling up, as the price makes higher lows but where the highs are cut off at the half number. This has the appearance of the MMs holding the price down at the half number while accumulating long orders below it (PVSRA)

EURUSD Long Trade Open:

M5 Classic, pre-LS. This is based on several factors: 1) the Asian session MMs started off with a small hike for altitude before driving the price lower - coaxing shorters in so they can close their own - all below the half number (PVSRA = bulls) where, 2) from the lows there began a series of bullish PA waves, 3) that are diminutive due to tight ranging (MMs trying to keep PA looking bearish so shorters will continue to come in), 4) all ahead of EUR releases coming in a few hours. This has the look of being whacked further below the half number for accumulation of long orders, just as GBPUSD does. And therefore, though in this case the Dragon is flat and the Trend is still down, I have decided to risk a long entry down here.
